I know there are plenty of users here who can help with SEO without a budget. But perhaps I haven't fully read all the rules for publishing my topic, but I really want this post to be published and for someone to at least give me some advice. I just want to understand, maybe someone has encountered how you started working with SEO when you created your SaaS and how to do it correctly in general. I would be grateful for any advice.

Totally get it starting SEO for a new SaaS can feel like a lot. The best move is to begin with the essentials: build a recognizable brand, create trust around your product, and make sure the technical basics are solid. Once those foundations are in place, your growth will come naturally.

Good Luck

Thank you, I just want to understand if it is possible to get the first customers without particularly strong interference in seo at first. Basic meta tags, title. description. and a page-by-page description. Partial implementation of ssr. Perhaps someone has already had experience, I would like to get a real feedback.

Start with keyword research, optimize core landing pages, build helpful content around user problems, and earn relevant backlinks. Track progress via Search Console. SEO for SaaS is slow but compounding.

thank you, now I have at least one tool to start with, thanks for the Google Search Console recommendation.

Start with strong on-page SEO—optimize keywords, speed, and content—then build trust with helpful blog posts and backlinks. Focus on solving user problems, and long-term organic growth will follow.

For SaaS SEO, focus on long-tail problem keywords, create helpful product-led content (guides, tutorials, comparisons), and build niche backlinks. Also make sure your site is fast and technically clean. SaaS ranks well when content + UX + authority all line up.

If you are new to SEO and working with a limited budget, start by creating valuable content, optimizing your pages, and earning natural backlinks. For a SaaS, you can publish helpful guides, contribute guest posts, and use free SEO tools to monitor your progress. The key is to stay consistent and grow step by step.

It’s tough at first, but learning SEO bit by bit can make a big difference for your SaaS.

Starting SEO for a new SaaS is mostly about building trust and showing real value, not spending money. Focus on understanding your user's problems and creating helpful content around those topics. Make sure your site structure is clean, fast and easy to navigate. Over time, publish guides, FAQ's and case studies that show your product in action - this is how most SaaS founders get early organic growth.

Starting SEO for a new SaaS can feel overwhelming, but it's mostly about getting the basics right. Focus first on understanding your audience, building a clean site structure and creating content that solves real problems. Then work on easy wins like keywor-focused pages, internal linking and a few quality backlinks. You don't need a big budget-just consistency and a clear plan. Many SaaS founders start small and scale SEO as results start kicking in.

You can start SEO for your SaaS even with zero budget.

Focus on simple content like problem-based blogs, comparison pages, and basic how-to guides.

Fix your on-page (titles, speed, internal links) and build free links from Reddit, Quora, and directories.

This alone is enough to get your SaaS visible and start ranking.

Yes as @WickednDivine mentioned, even without a budget, these tiny signals tell google and AI systems that your product is real, active and being talked about and this often helps new SaaS brands get indexed, trusted and discovered much faster than just doing on-page basics.

I hear you! SEO can feel like a huge challenge, especially when you're just starting out with a SaaS and working with a tight or no budget. The good news is, it's totally possible to get started with SEO on a shoestring budget if you're smart about how you approach it.

I know many people here offer SEO advice even without a budget. I may not fully understand all the posting rules yet, but I’m genuinely looking to learn. I’d really appreciate any guidance from members who have experience doing SEO for their own SaaS projects. How did you get started, and what did you focus on first?
Any advice or direction would be very helpful. Thanks!

SaaS SEO is different because you're not just ranking pages, you're ranking a solution. Early on, don't just blog. Create detailed "vs" comparison pages against popular competitors. These pages attract immediate search traffic from people already comparing options.

Second, build "integration" or "API" documentation pages even if they're basic. Developers search for "your tool + API" early in their research. Those pages rank quickly and signal technical legitimacy.

Lastly, collect every error message or problem your tool solves. Turn each into a short "How to fix specific error" post. These rank fast for long-tail searches and directly attract users experiencing the pain point you solve.

Read the seo guides here and apply that wisdom for your service site.
