newbie question here. When sending trackbacks do we send a url of our article/our main domain/ or do we send the trabackback url of our article?

If it's the trackback url of our wordpress article how do we find what it is? (my theme doesn't show it)

Maybe i'm totally wrong but does the tracback option even work since they have to be typed in to our trackback box when you edit a wordpress post. I just don't get it

I'm pretty sure it works lol. IIRC there is a bit of documentation in the usage guide. Check that ouut, then look at how some of your targets have their trackbacks displayed, and look at the two sample trackback files that come with sbox. Then I rcommend trackback spamming 1 of your own sites to see how it looks to the target. I remember one new user awhile ago had the two files backwards.

I think it's better now.

After testing proxies, click on Cleanup > Filter Out Proxies > Passed > Apply. Then export the list.

Is it just me or is the "check links" options for trackbacks now broken??

I been trying for the past 10 minutes to check on my comments to see if they are posted and all I get is the urls that i'm checking showing up twice (also show up as the anchor links). Not only that but I get random anchor text and scrapebox shows them as "found" (if all the other stuff wasn't bad enough)

Can anyone check their trackbacks and tell me if it's just me or if its scrapebox?

Just to reiterate moneymoguls comment - every time we use and test out some new feature or combination of features we find a new little trick that, on its own, is worth way way more than the cost of this fantastic little tool. If you are unsure about purchasing, just do yourself and buy it. You will not be disappointed.

Just ran thru 8000 trackbacks couple hours ago. Its all working fine even on .71. You aren't by chance loading the same file for websites and urls are you?

I found the problem loopline, I was loading the your-blogs.txt instead of the websites.txt to check backlinks. I guess the confusion arose since I was using the trackback poster at the time.

Silly me. An hour + of frustration now gone

Glad you found the source of the issue. For some reason, people get the files used for trackback'ing wrong quite often (e.g. my earlier post to you mentioning an earlier issue where the user had the two files backwards). Not trying to be an "I told you so", just mentioning it for the historical record. The trackback files confuse users for some reason.

It took me a bit of time to get the hang of them, TBH, but it's worth making a part of the toolkit. Happy Scraping!

For instance, I bumped the mic and got it way to close to my mouth and the audio is pretty loud.

I also probably was talking much to fast, which I tend to do a lot. Its actually pretty slow on the video for me, but I know its still too fast.

As for feedback, I had no probs with the video or audio - as far as your speed of talking, I'd rather hear it fast, I can always rewind and/or take notes as a person talks. I've seen a few tutorial/guru type videos where the person talked....so....slowly...that...I....wanted to f'ing scream.

I'll look forward to future vids from you, your contributions about sbox are very valuable. As for potential topics for future vids, I could give you my two loonies worth but that would take me a bit longer and sounds presumptuous of me to even suggest. But if you're interested in my thoughts hit me up. And thanks again, great tut.

Going to filter out proxies just results in the program completely locking up here, whereas I never had a problem before.

Prior to the update, I could just click export, then transfer good proxies to main list. I don't know why this was taken out.

Plus it can learn others with the learning mode. However if these are PR6 pages i wouldn't be using any tool, i would be inclined to manually drop the comments.

And i got 2 questions:

1.- How can SB post in drupal since it needs registration?
2.-Where is the leaning mode in SB menues?
