Most people blast and pray. I use Scrapebox for smart scraping—low OBL blog comment targets, keyword gaps from competitor sitemaps, and even expired Tumblr hunts. It’s all about the filters. Anyone still using it for lead gen?

yeah, SB has tons of usages. And when I say "ton" I literally mean 100s of functions if you use your imagination, it can...

- scrape / harvest URLs, emails, keywords
- trim / clean / sort lists of keywords, backlinks, URLs, sites, pages, words, numbers
- find expired domains
- check indexation, live-ness, d0follow-ness of URLs
- track rankings of keywords

And these are just things that I remember I've done with SB some 3 years ago, to be honest SB is the only SEO tool that I still itch of using but I can't be bothered to install Windows on a virtual machine on my Linux PC in order to put SB on it (I think SB doesn't work with Linux, but I'm not sure). Oh, and I also don't do SEO anymore and that's the main reason for which I bought SB in the first place. But maaan, do I itch to use it again...

Anyway, pretty great tool, I wouldn't swap it for Ahrefs or Semrush if I was given the choice

Yeah, still useful if you know how to filter right. Scrapebox isn’t about blasting anymore, it’s about digging up quality targets, footprints, competitor gaps, expired properties. For lead gen it works, but only if you pair it with good filtering and verification.

I am Not able to scrape a lot anymore. Also Index checking does not work for me anymore.
Any ideas what I do wrong.
Last year everything went fine.
Using dedicated proxies.

i still use scrapebox for lead generation. focusing on the right filters—like low-obl blogs, competitor sitemap gaps, and expired domains—makes a big difference. with the setup done properly, it can generate solid leads without getting stuck on dead links​

Anyone harvesting URLs on scrapebox successfully, I have private proxies from mpp. Using custom harvester with no proxies works, custom harvester with private proxies not working 0 results, custom harvester with beta and private proxies, getting partial results and painfully slow.

@loopline can you please do an updated tutorial on this? Harvesting Google URLs and advising on proxy types to use? Thanks in advance.
