I have three blogs in, Tech , Business and recipes. :)
Yes i know totally unrelated topics.

Back in the day i earned a decent amount of money from them, that's like 5 to 7 years ago
These blogs are gathering dust now and pretty much not been updated regularly .. Im planning to get back in ..but really dont know..

Today its a tik tok ..insta ..youtube world

Any ideas or suggestions on what way I should go forward with these blogs in 2025 or should i just pivot ?

If you got 2 cents and surfing past this post drop a piece of advice, suggestion or idea

Attention spans are shorter for sure, but you can still try and revive your blogs. Focus on newer trends. Like cover AI with your tech blog. You can focus on entrepreneurship and maybe even include side hustles and personal finance for your business blog
With your recipes blog you can do keto and vegan as these seem to be trending.

If you're not too optimistic about your existing blogs, start from scratch, pick one niche and focus just on that (I'd do this if I were you).

develop with ideas in creating content replica to rich channel upload if making same content of choose niche, creating social presence to increase blog website with recent update posts upload to reachout on other app audiences.

Buy traffic to them or use Pinterest. You can also start YouTube channels and promote your blog through that (I doubt you'll get any visits unless traffic intent is to get to your blog).

Today it's not just about text. It's not enough to be a rockstar. If you do plain text blogs, you need some unique perspective, niche experience, solving unique problems of audience.

If you do recipes, my idea would be to ask people from 3rd world countries who have iphones to record them for you. Maybe you'd find someone. I can't see this without outsourcing. I'm still googling for recipes though, so you can get traffic with blogging, just not as much as in dreams.

If you just want to write boring blogs, sorry, but it'd be best done automatically by AI models.

5-7 years is a period of time that has changed a lot of things. From having other social networks that are more famous, more users. But blogging is still not degraded as you said. Time has changed many algorithms, you should update and take advantage of the old audience and develop a new audience is very good. In addition, you convert and lead the audience to Fb, TT channels is also a method to keep up with the times.

Still not end of the world. There are various other opportunities online.

If your existing blogs are generating at least some sort of traffic, sell them and create a sub-niche blog. Your current blogs seem to be generic and those are wide niches.

I always thought Backlinko was out of the box and is a good example of well done, outside the box content.
Maybe it's just me and there's nothing special about Brian Dean.

Sounds like you've got solid assets! Instead of starting from scratch, you could revive the blogs by focusing each on a tight niche. Repurpose old content for SEO, and build topical authority
Then use TikTok/YouTube/IG Shorts to drive traffic back to short-form video and SEO is a powerful combo in 2025
Don’t pivot, yet optimize and modernize

Blogging in 2025 require expert filling to run/develop good content niche blog page with index on search list to generate traffics on residual.
ways of blogging are cheaper and expensive with the available of ai and other tools to run an automation blogging website.

Organic Blogging is not doing really great through ad sense, to be honest with you. Unless you are thinking about Content arbitrage. But still lead gen or selling a direct advertisers product through your blog could be a good fit in terms of value.

Organic blogging no longer generates significant revenue through AdSense.

If the domains still have age and backlinks, they’re worth reviving. Update the best old posts, add fresh content, and repurpose into short-form for TikTok/Instagram to drive traffic back. You can also cross-link between the blogs to share authority.

Well you can try to Revive them by focusing on one niche, update old posts, add fresh content, and repurpose into TikTok/YouTube shorts for reach. Blogs still work, but blending with social is key in 2025

Before you decide whether to go all-in or pivot, I’d test. Pick the blog that once performed best, update 10–15 old posts with fresh content and keywords, and post consistently for a month.
Watch the analytics, if you see organic traffic moving, you know it’s worth scaling.

In 2025, combining aged blogs with short-form video traffic can work wonders. Your written content can fuel social media posts, which in turn bring new readers back to your site.

If you don’t want to drop them, focus on evergreen content updates and build a small email list from each blog. Then use TikTok/Instagram/YouTube shorts to push traffic back, short-form content works great as a gateway to long-form articles. You can also test merging them under one brand if it fits your style.

Blogging isn’t dead, but it’s shifted In 2025, mix long form evergreen posts with short form video, social sharing, and ai summaries Repurpose content for TikTok/YouTube Shorts to drive traffic back

Blogging is not over yet, but it has changed a lot. If your blog is still old and has some backlinks, they can be useful. Focus on a specific niche, update your best posts, and add new content. Use TikTok or YouTube Shorts to drive traffic back to your blog. This mix will work better in 2025 than relying on text alone.
