Top 5 WordPress Plugins in 2025 – What Are You Using and Recommending?

Hey everyone!

I’ve recently been reorganizing my WordPress setups and asked myself: Which plugins are truly essential in 2025? The kind I wouldn’t build a new site without.

Here’s my current top 5 list — based on tools I actually use across blogs, business sites, and smaller eCommerce projects:

My personal top 5 plugins:

1. Elementor – Still my go-to page builder. Flexible, fast, and great for visual design.

2. WPForms – Super easy drag-and-drop form builder. Great for contact forms, surveys, etc.


3. All in One SEO (AIOSEO) – Handles everything SEO-related: meta, sitemaps, schema, redirects.


4. WP Rocket – Boosts site speed significantly. One of the best caching/performance plugins.


5. Akismet – Classic anti-spam plugin, but still very reliable for keeping forms & comments clean.

I use these across various project types, but I’m sure there are other great (maybe even better) tools out there.

Also, WP Rocket when and where necessary.

Quick q for folks sharing WP stacks in 2025:
has anyone added AI Content Wizard / AI SEO AutoOptimize Pro to their “must-have” list?
I read a review saying one can fully replace a seo copywriter, and the other “replaces a seo team” by doing bulk titles/meta/schema/internal links for thousands of products.
Sounds wild. Any hands-on feedback? perf impact? conflicts w/ WP Rocket or RankMath? Would you trust it on a 5–8k SKU shop?
