WP-Script RetroTube vs. KVS Basic for Adult Tube Site: SEO Impact & Alternatives?

I'm planning to start an adult tube site and looking for an affordable but reliable CMS option.

So far, I’ve found two realistic choices:

• WP-Script (Retrotube Theme) – $24

• KVS Basic – $99

That's a big price difference. I know KVS is well-known, but is it really worth 4x more than WP-Script?

From checking out sites listed on ThePornDude, both WP-Script and KVS Basic sites seem to rank from the middle to bottom. Many of the top sites appear to use custom builds with Nginx/OpenResty/PHP.

So my questions:

• Is WP-Script (Retrotube) stable and SEO-friendly in 2025?

• Does KVS Basic give a big edge in performance or SEO?

• Is there a better alternative between these two?

Would love some honest feedback before I decide.

Wp-script : i bought it full package years ago, but didnt like it and never use it except some demo. Still is somewhere on my storage with the product key.
Cheap and easy if you are away from programming, but still need a lot of effort to rank
Kvs : Tested and like it but never use it. Suggested as cheap solution
I will strongly suggest mechbunny. Far away better and professional tube site.

Yes, I know, but I checked the WP-Script Discord; some people were facing problems like the license key not being found. And they don't have support either.

My budget is tight, so right now I can go with KVS so my marketing costs shrink, plus I'm a bit scared about the domain name; what if it's going to be banned?

Just turn on debug log, then we can see too many errors. Wish they can fix it to be better, especially there's chatgpt to help. KVS, good script but expensive, you buy a lot of crap you don't need, VAST is paid, big investment, you have to have a powerful server when you code, a lot of disadvantages, you have to know the code, you pay for everything

Tubes booster video cms, I'm switching to it, cheap solution now costs 68 usd, guys code everything for me, no problem, plugin will do cheaply what you need, literally for a couple of dollars, you have SEO and no stupid stuff I don't need.

These guys, no support at all. If you are familiar with coding no problem, if not too bad.
Demo sites looking and working ok but thats the promotion. And of course we speak for embeds and iframes.
For low or zero budget i suggest : Find a tube template (free or cheap one), manage any changes that you need to, including adds and plugs, find cheap hosting, see how it goes and later on after 3 - 6 months you decide what to. Best of luck!!!
