One of my friends often casually claims that it’s possible to run multiple campaigns at a time on Facebook without spending a single dollar. All campaigns will remain active, but no money will be spent.

Is there really any way on Facebook or Meta’s platforms to run several campaigns at once without incurring any cost?

Note that the goal here is to keep the campaign on; no results are needed.

No, there’s no legit way to run active Facebook campaigns without spending money. If a campaign is active and delivering, it will cost something.

well here is exactly what your friend did , he was running ads but not actually delivering any metrics fro the campagn . technically its possible to do this and its used for teaching or keeping campaings on hold until the green light is given but until you actually spend money . there will be no deliverable data or effect .

it seems that impossible to do this

There's no official method to run facebook campaigns for $0 while keeping them active- but technically, campaigns can be set live with super low bids or broken setups so they don't spend, though they also won't deliver or have any real impact. It's more like a paused engine running with no gas.

Set a tiny bid like $0.0001 CPM, so the ad never wins an auction. The campaign shows as active but spends nothing.

Yes, you can technically keep campaigns “active” without spending, but they won’t actually run or show ads to anyone. There’s no real way to get live Facebook ads for free, if your ads are being delivered, you’ll always be charged.

Great idea, boss! Maybe something like that works.

No!
The technique is such that the campaign is active and running, but no money will be spent. It's a technique that needs to be discovered.

no way friend
Maybe your friend bought a high spend threshold ad account and already had someone else's card in it
or it was a pre-funded account
yes, because when starting the campaign your friend had to add a payment method and was charged

Yeah, you can keep them active with zero budget or tight targeting, but they won’t actually run. Looks active on the surface, but nothing really happens.

I remember finding a glitch once that allowed you to run ads and get clicks for as little as $0.005 hehe... But that was many years ago.

I told 1 person that I was close to, he told 1 person that he was close to.... And before you know it, it didn't work anymore.

If there is a way to run ads with low or little spending.... You won't find out about it until it's patched up or you discover it for yourself.

Nobody is gonna freely share it with you.

you can set the minimum budget but going live completely free, i doubt that.
so your friend not telling you how exactly it works, but flexing on the technique that he knows what you dont... unfriend that dude

it’s possible if you set the bids extremely low or use rules to pause before spending, campaign shows as active but won’t actually deliver

yeah it’s possible you can set the budget to $0 or pause the ad sets. the campaigns will still show as active but nothing will actually run or spend.

What is the point of creating campaigns with zero cost and zero reach? Just don't create any campaign and you will also not spend anything

Nah, not possible. If the campaign’s active, Meta will charge—even if you get zero reach. No free rides on FB.
