Hi, my own CMS creates a copy of all articles I publish on PDF format, Google index it very well, sometimes the pdf file gets better results on SERPs than the original php file (not so good).
Now I'm testing submit this pdf files to sites like Scribd with big authority, however, I'm afraid of Scribd get better results on SERPs than my original pdf or page but I think the pdf file will give me links.

Do you have any experience on this?

Yeah, that’s pretty common , PDF files uploaded to high-authority platforms like Scribd often rank better than the original source page, especially if the source site lacks trust.
To avoid duplication issues, some people tweak the PDF slightly (intro text, footer, embedded image, etc.) or add deep links back to internal pages.
Also, triggering fast indexing is sometimes done with light simulated traffic from mobile IPs, just to mimic organic user interaction around the file.

I've experimented with this tactic, yes. Link diversity and indexing can be improved by uploading PDFs to high-authority websites like Scribd, but you should exercise caution because those sites may outrank your original content, particularly if your website has less authority. Canonical tags or a clear link to your website should be added to the PDF, in my opinion. In this manner, it continues to send traffic and signals to you even if it ranks. Keep in mind that link juice is more of a visibility boost than a miracle.

Scribd have surprisingly few pdf files actually indexed, so I don't think they'll be stealing your traffic:

I’ve tested this! Scribd and similar sites can outrank your original if Google sees them as the authority source for that PDF. What worked for me: add internal links and branding in the PDF itself + canonical tags where possible. That way, even if Scribd ranks, it still funnels traffic or link juice back to your main site. Worth a shot!

Thanks all for your comments, are very useful, my pdf files has a lot of internal links to my website, also I have linked the logo to the main page and added a click bait image simulating a captcha linked to my page. The only thing I need to do is the canonical trough .htaccess to instruct Google what is the main source of the content.

Your right, however, Scribd rank a common html file/dir for your submited pdf, and this can outrank you, for example: https://es.scribd.com/doc/295221032/structure-of-the-constitution

I also upload my pdfs, but sometime Scribd rank better. I think its fine if your site has the pdf first. Google usualy knows who post it first, so you still get the credit.

Interesting strategy. If you’re submitting to Scribd mainly for backlinks, just make sure your original content is indexed first and use canonical tags where possible. Scribd might outrank your site short-term, but it can still drive traffic and authority back to you if your branding or links are solid in the PDF. Worth testing with a few files first.
