Let's say I have a comics website and some of them are for adult audience. The question is: how do you add Adsense to the website? Do you hide category? Hide all posts when adding the site to pass the moderation? Any hint is very welcome.

Forgot to add, I will not show ads on adult pages

Hmmm, it's doable but very risky. Have you checked out the competition? What are they doing?

Personally I wouldn't risk it.

???Because Google crawls your entire website and if there is adult things anywhere on it, it may flag the entire site as adult???

not sure if what I said above is true

That is what I think too, but wanted to hear opinions here

Doesn't matter if you exclude ads for just adult content, still adsense will review whole website and you will eventually get banned. So i would say, better not risk doing it.

To pass moderation, you could hide or exclude the adult category by using a plugin like Ad Inserter to control which pages display ads. Another approach is to temporarily remove or noindex the adult content during the approval process. Just ensure the remaining content aligns with AdSense guidelines.

Are you saying this based on your experience or...?

Google AdSense is strict about adult content, so even a little can get your site rejected. Here are some tips:

  1. Review Policies: Check AdSense’s content rules to see what’s allowed.
  2. Separate Content: Use a subdomain or separate site for adult comics.
  3. Hide Categories: You can hide adult sections, but Google might still check the whole site.
  4. Apply Clean: Apply with only family-friendly content visible.
  5. Try Other Ad Networks: Networks like JuicyAds or ExoClick allow adult content.

There are so many other ways to monetize adult content and traffic, risking your AdSense account isn't worth it.
