Hey everyone,
I have a site in the finance niche (banking, credit cards) that went mini viral and spread through WOM. 40% traf comes from Google.
It gets 5-10k unique visitors per month, but monetised with newsletter subs. Only has a few pages, not really done too much blogging.
The subs are seasonal but consistent, total of 5000 customers, however there's not much room to scale in this direction.
I'm considering blog posts more in order to diversify income / leverage audience. Customers aren't receptive to affiliate offers really.
SEMrush gives me a DA of 8 so I think it's building decent cred in the eyes of Google and I've heard this is kinda hard in YMYL niches so maybe I can take advantage of this?
My question:
What would be a good move for me here? Should I invest in content and try and build a bigger blog to take advantage of mini authority in this niche, then monetise with display & mediavine when big enough?
Got an email list of about 5k from it too. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!
