thank you for all information you wrote. I also feel that the forum lacks detailed information on how to position products effectively on Etsy.
I have the following questions, and I’d really appreciate your answers. I’m focused on getting my products to rank in the top positions.
in your opinion, what’s the most important factor when it comes to product positioning? I know you mentioned SEO, the right pricing, and possibly reviews/ratings of the shop. Is there anything else?
To summarize, after adding a new product:
- I set an appropriate price, aligned with the average for that type of product.
- I create an appropriate description. In your opinion, does the description matter, or are the titles more important? one of the guides on youtube recommended avoiding commas in titles to let Etsy mix up the words in the title. Have you heard about this? Do descriptions and tags play a big role?
- Does adding products to the cart from other accounts help push the listing higher?
- Is there anything else that can help improve the listing’s rank?
how difficult do you think it is to promote a shop with just a few sales to the top positions? I know it depends on many factors, including the difficulty of the keyword, but as we know, most shops don't understand SEO. So, in general, is it hard to reach the first pages if you know the right methods?
also, do you think completing the shop information on the shop's homepage helps with positioning listings?
Thanks!
