Card Payment Processors for Individuals – Any Recommendations?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for card payment processors that accept individual accounts (no company required). I’m based in Europe, and my clients are also from Europe. The payments will be processed for a membership-based site, with an initial $1 payment followed by recurring charges every few days (rebill).

I’ve spoken to one processor that accepts individuals and offers payouts in cryptocurrencies, but it’s only available for US citizens.

If anyone knows of a payment processor that works for non-US individuals and supports this kind of setup for European clients, I’d really appreciate your recommendations!

I know Stripe is very sensitive to chargebacks.

I need a processor through which I can run at least 2-3 months (a volume of a few thousand transactions) before I ban the account.

I need for rebills (1 usd initially + payments every 14 days) and the chargeback is quite high.

I use Bitpay and Invecta for my subscriptions, but I don't know if they accept individuals, they both offer processing of CC and payment in crypto or fiat. Hope it helps

Bitpay is fiat on ramp and works like an exchange in the sense that it tells the customer that they are going to buy cryptocurrencies of x amount in usd. The customer also has to go through several steps, sometimes even KYC.

Is what I say true? That's what I remember from when I tested them.

If yes, it means the conversion rate will drop a lot.


I haven't heard of Invecta. Does it work the same?

Stripe seems to be the most mainstream.

Alternative could also be a revolut with their PRO account, it offers a payment link feature - rather convenient.
