[Journey] Building an iOS & Android App Empire

Can you use Admob on AppGallery apps? If you have app on Google Play or Ios which are linked and approved will that same .apk show ads when people download it from AppGallery?

I think its possible, but I am not quite sure. The best would be to integrate mediation.

The last few days I had my best days when it comes to IAP. I In one single day I made over $800 from IAPs. Way to go!

Have you ever faced a google developer account banned and active again ?
From my experience (mostly reading other user stories) - it happens, but... it doesn't happen very often. Usually in cases when the ban was really a mistake, or an account owner was some well-known blog author. Practically not possible when you live in a 3rd world, in a country known for app spamming.

It really depends on the reason why they ban the account in the first place. From experience the chance of getting reinstated is 5%.

I mean, they can and will ban you for any reason they want without giving you the reason. They banned my company account and said I had an account before, but my company never had. I provided them with all information. Even the incorporation documents of my company that wrote the date of incorporation, so I couldn't have a business account prior to that. They still didn't reinstate it. Actually, I could have taken legal action against them. But is worth it? No. Fighting for what? These people can do whatever they want.

Even in tier 1 countries its incredibly difficult. so the only thing they might fear is legal actions. but generally speaking they do not give a fuck.

Wow they're so rude. Mine got banned 4 months ago after running well for 4 years. So i think i have to let it go now and move on.
Do you think make a new google developer account a good idea? But they can ban for prior, right?

1. different computer and IP
2. different phone number, firstname and lastname
3. never open old projects in Android Studio on new computer
4. never access old Google account on new computer

Google is still going wild. Removed another of my apps yesterday for a random reason. The app was fine for two years, no problem at all. Then, suddenly, it was removed yesterday.

How do you deal with App Ideas where the content is the king? I'm not referring by UGC but something that you provide, an example could be the wallpapers apps where is the creator to provide content to the user
Thanks

Sorry for the late update. I have been super busy and sick. Dealt with it for like 3 weeks. First I got a food poisoning and then I got covid. Lost 5kg, completely f*cked up. Still recovering now. So far October has been a mess, but I am looking forward to get back to work asap.

In September I published a few udpates for my apps, which increased the conversion rate of the IAP. Also I fixed some bugs.

I will provide you guys with numbers soon. I have to go through all the accounts myself first to see how much I earned.

So i tested few apps in good niches, the icons and wallpaper are over the competitors, also the feature, but I do not see that much of download from organic, even if apps in the same niche has 2k downloads

Google Play at its best. I have an old Google Play developer account (maybe 2-3 years old). There is one app published on the account. But unfortunately, I lost access to the account (gmail, auth, etc.) and couldn't verify it on time.

Now here is the interesting thing: They first sent me an email saying the verification is overdue and they gave me a time window to make it.

but

one day later I received an termination email:

Status:

Your Developer account remains terminated due to prior violations of the Developer Program Policiesand Developer Distribution Agreement by this or associated, previously terminated Google Play Developer accounts.

Please do not attempt to register a new developer account. Any new accounts will be closed, and your developer registration fee will not be refunded.

Guys, you can say whatever you want, but this is a god damn joke.

Even the way they formulated this "by this or associated, previously terminated Google Play Developer accounts" is a joke itself. Basically they can and will do whatever they want to you, without any reason at all.

So after 2-3 years of NO PROBLEMS and never a single app removed, suspended (i only had one app) they suddenly said I violated their ToS and terminated the account. The previous time window they gave me to verify the account (which I wouldn't have done anyway) didn't matter anymore.

Do not trust Google. Do not put all your eggs in one basket. Imagine this would have been my money making account....imagine I would have had apps on there that makes me 5 figures. It would all be gone just because someone (or an AI?) made the decision to terminated the account for some bullshit intransparent reason

I wanna share something interesting with you guys. Just by accident I found a Medium article about turning iOS SwiftUI apps into Android apps.

I found a tool that (it seems) allows you to turn your SwiftUI app into a native Android app: https://skip.tools/ (I am not affiliated with them or anything like that). Never used it before.

In the next few weeks I will give it a try to see if it actually works. So far it seems very promising, but no clue if it actually works for my apps.
