I'm wondering if $1 clickbank offers still work nowdays. The type of offers are like trial cost its $1 but after 14 days trial period it charges a much higher value (usually front end regular price) but those info about future monthly payments in sales page are written in a very very small letters so many costumers dont notice that they will be charged in future so they got tricked by those offers.

I saw some marketers claiming in the past that they earned thousands of dollars with those $1 traps offers but don't know if that strategy work nowdays in 2024..

Anyone have experience with that type of offers? Its still profitable or not?

is this type of offers still lucrative?

"Offer" is a fancy name for this scam
Of course it can work and it can be profitable
Like offering an iPhone for $1 and then two weeks later you charge $800

You would be killed with refund.
Even your 'shitbank' account would be at risk because of high refund.

Yes but for leads from Tier 1 countries they claim that refund rate it's around 10%. it seems low so they can keep getting more and more profit. if costumers are from poor countries probably the refund rate would be much higher, because few dollars for us are a fortune for them....

but you guys dont think its a easy way to make money online selling $1 trial products even informing the costumers that they will be charged with a higher value after the 14 days trial period?
sometimes people fell upset when see products that cost more than $10.. people seems cheap asf sometimes lol...

Well i think you must asure yourself that its a good product ,because if its a quality product then many people will cancel their subscription until 14 days and you will not make any money

Yes. people for products of $35 or $49 are very scary to risk to invest so much money. but if product is amazing and it cost only $1 for test I think more people would like pay for the product and will likely pay for full subscription.
I mean I though $1 products could be a good option for people that have a small audience and also when the person are promoting through paid ads to random people that have no idea if that promoted product is a scam or legit.

So $1 investment would be a low risk investment... Why that Kind of offers are not very popular?.

Cause you don't get paid until they charge full subscription amount.
Certain networks do everything to not pay their affiliates.
You can create such an offer on your own with own product. I believe it'd make more sense, but would it. You need to do A/B test.

To decide whether an offer makes sense for you, you need to study your audience, simply by testing.
People don't share their audience publicly and usually things happen via email, so you might not see offers of kind x or y.

even in my case that got 31000 opt-in emails in my lists which they are spread through Mailchimp , system . IO , and Kartra email marketing platforms , with 99% people from United States, I still have a audience very very scared when it cames to spend a little money in a new product.

That's why I'm looking for strategies to make them buy my new products and I'm looking for advice here.
What should I do when I got 31000 email contacts and most people and ceptical/cheap about spend money in everything? I dont know more what to do right now.

According to my email marketing statistics everytime I launch my weekly campaign with fresh news/products only 0,3% of my audience end up buy some product. sometimes even less.

Those offers do work, but you have to explain to them why you offer it for $1 so it doesn't come over as a scam. Don't just have a optin page and "Your Ebook for $1" you need a landing page

It all depends on the traffic that you are able to drive to this offers. But honestly if you have genuine traffic I would focus on promoting some legitimate product or service for a commission

Click Bait always works. I would call this a marketing tactic rather than a trap.

I think you should withdraw the money and say you will refund it and do it.

I do exactly that using a well designed landing page or using a content page linked to a landing page. But the problem is regardless most of them living in Tier 1 country with high purchase power to good possibilities to spend, they are always scared and make "to many questions" before buy something.
ot looks most people are cheap and scared of spend more than $2 on anything( like a price of a coffee) . that's unbelivable.... I notice a lot in the last 2 years ..

It happens that to you guys as well? Is this normal?

some people don't mind to risk simply $1 to try a product and see if its realky good. but in last 2 years people look like very cheap (even when they got a salary with $5000 per month or more) ...
So in my statistics using mailchimp, Kartra, system, I notice only 0,3% end up buying something when I launch my weekly email campaigns.

Is this percentage of buyers normal?. What strategies should I apply in order to make things more trustworthy and make them invest in my products?.

As long as the offers still exist the method should work the same.

That is bad, it seems like very cold traffic
