Hi, need your advice. I have an adult site. Traffic was 2.5k clicks on GSC. After moving the site to a better vps, traffic shot up to 7k and after a week everything immediately dropped to 90%. I lost both traffic and keywords. On google search console, there is no penalty, everything is clean. I tried uploading videos a month ago, it indexed the pages in 10 hours on google search console, but the traffic did not increase. I wanted to ask if it could have happened because of a change in Google's algorithm or because of something else

It may have been caused by a technical issue during the site migration. I recommend that you review the site performance and content optimization.

It's your server bro, move back. It's very clear.

You moved to a better VPS, there could be issues such as increased server response times, downtime, or misconfigurations that negatively affect your site.

Please thoroughly review your website's content. If you find any AI-generated content, kindly remove it as soon as possible. Google has been de-indexing pages on many websites due to the presence of AI-generated content. this is other website and due ai content the website traffic is continuously decrease.

It may have happened due to the core update rolled out in June. If not, then the issue might be related to the migration or the new server. Check both areas carefully.

do you still rank for any of the keywords anywhere in the top 100?
how old is the website? how about the link profile?
how often were you publishing pages?

that looks like a penalty, the website doesn't look like it's aged/authorative,
most likely it got caught by some of the spam algos,
can't conclude without knowing more tho

Check the server you migrated, make sure you done it properly and check all the content has been placed and indexed which you uploaded recently. Get a complete list of back link profile and remove any irrelevant links.

It's very strange. I think it is caused by an algorithm problem. The server problem will not suddenly drop to almost 0.

It's likely that the sudden traffic drop could be due to a temporary fluctuation in Google's algorithm or a technical issue after the migration, such as incorrect redirects or server response problems, rather than a penalty.

If it's no penalty, then try building links for your site to increase the site's authority and traffic. Do a site audit and competitor analysis to get a better view of the problem

Text me in private i will help you for FREE , may be a lot of reason why dropped

Hi @ZeroMatrix

How was your site performance today?

The drop was only because of the servers you changed that's the reason for the major drop

So keep working again on the site to regain the performance
