"Video is not the main content on the page" GSC Error

Hi

I started an adult tube site where I upload videos on doodstream then I embed them to my site using the embed code.

Nothing else is on the page except the embedded video.

I use the retrotube theme from WPScript on my site.

I'm currently getting this issue from GSC for all the videos I uploaded :
"No video indexed"
"Why video is not indexed
Video is not the main content of the page"

The pages are indexed but not the videos, which is problematic since most clicks come from the videos tab on google search.

How can I fix that ?

Do you use the video structured data? There is a schema property on there for defining the main part of a web page. Alternatively, you can use the <main> HTML tag.

You must be in the wp script discord group.
Do link exchanges there also post memes on 9gag and reddit including the videos photo as meme.

when people ask for the video link you simply share it.

This will bring a lot of traffic to your site directly and overtime will get all relevant pages indexed too.

The URL must contain the term "video". You should use video schema (which I assume you're already using) and there shouldn't be any text in the content (excluding the title). If there is text in the content, Google considers the main content to be text and the video to be supplementary. That's the nonsense of Google. However, this time, while rising in the video tab, you may drop in the actual search results.

Also, the video should be positioned at the top of the page (like on YouTube).

I fully agree. It only helped to add the word “video” to the URL

An easy way to fix this is if the URL contains the word "video" so that Google can sew that the primary aspect of the webpage is the video and not the text.
