That's odd - I just updated to .41 and the proxy checker is working fine. Are you talking about when you're harvesting proxies or when you're testing proxies?

Very strange. I'm testing proxies right now and having no probs. Sorry, can't help other than standard troubleshooting ideas. Install or mod any AV/antimalware/internet apps lately? Try running ccleaner? I don't know what else to suggest, maybe someone else?

what is the total number of updates done to scrapebox now ? its the most updated software ive ever seenwith atleast 2-3 updates a week

Ok so i am trying to spy on my competitors....
so lets say all of my competitors are using a link like this on the different pages of their site:
http://www.hello.com/tracking5/purchase
so obviously if i want to be able to find all of my competitors and see what they are doing, i need to be able to use a custom footprint in scrapebox and basically find any sites that contain that link. Any ideas on how to do this? I realize i need to search using a custom footprint, i just dont know what kind. Any help greatly appreciated this has been bugging me for weeks! Thanks

You have to use this software really lightly. Getting a whole bunch of proxies and scraping a load of sites and posting won't do you much good if you aren't doing any filtering.
I was doing natural SEO on my site and my site was on page 21. That was just signing up at sites and putting the url in profiles.
Right after I started using scrape box and removed all the N/A page rank pages. Only kept PR 1-5 and used it, my site tanked to page 25. It was less than 3 days when this happened.
The backlinks take a bit to show up, I know that. But it shouldn't make your page tank on google. Anyone else experiencing tanking after using SB?

It might do the Google Dance, but it should work out fine. (or so has been my experience). I mean Google sees all those sites, and knows they are all typically spammed, so they don't associate as much value to those links anyway. Its the moderated ones you want.

I dont think so, Google isnt that smart. Some Spammy Blogs will get a lower value from Google, but not all.

I think it would be incredible if scrapebox have ability to check URLs ranking from lists of URLs and keywords on each certain search engine (google,com, ca, de, yahoo,...) or may be check all of them at once.
It should be easy since scrapebox already has all basic operations which need for this purpose. I'm looking forward for this one
