I promote dating offers with media buying but i find it to be nearly impossible to become profitable. Even if i manage to buy the traffic very cheap it seems that it's impossible to turn a campaign profitable. How media buyers turn campaigns profitable ? Note that i tried everything from google ads to exoclick and anything in between.

There are various third party websites that provide dating product services with product links from them on various social media such as Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram. You can profit by marketing in these sectors

If you're taking those dating offers from network, you should encounter the fact that they are already being advertised by dozens lads like you and (which is most likely), by the offers owners themselves in the same sources you're trying to buy traffic from.

Best practices you can apply are
a) better creatives - not just taking some fresh stuff outta spytools, but really working on landing pages, push or banner creatives
b) buying cheap traffic means that the audience behind it was alredy swamped by similar (and many other ads) before yours and less likely gonna convert
c) find a fresh traffic source (nearly impossible) or get a manager's assistance in order to properly set up your campaigns (if you're buying from network)
d) try to practice with the offers which had the shortest flow possible - SOI
e) keep in mind that there were literally nothing new in the dating industry for a long time, therefore - try to find some fresh offer or fresh geo (not EU or NA, but some African or Asian stuff)

By the way - Exo is one of the largest adult sources in the industry and I'm 95% sure that almost all (if not all) adult / mainstream dating offers were already ran thru them on the juiciest spots with most competitive rates

Well while get what you are saying, ad networks like exo are constantly increasing the CPC rates the conversion rates are dropping and payouts remain stable. So even if i have the best performing offer, a very optimized campaign the profit margin will still be very low.

Do you really think "they increasing the CPC"?
Let me open up a small insight of how they operate (actually, nothing super special - all networks has the same mech in this regard) - no1 increasing CPCs or CPMs manually, just to make another affiliate cry at BWH or any other place. 90% of the ad networks have "Live auction bidding" models implemented within their ad distributing tech, therefore if rates go up, it simply means that there is a competition going on at the slice (targetings preset) and you got outbidded by some1 bigger (whether it's a direct advertiser - brand owner, or agency, or other affiliate with a better terms and higher margin to operate). No miracles here - none of the network would not artificially raise bids and overheat the market prices for no reason

And your margin always gonna be lower as a solo affiliate (or a small agency), comparing to some1 bigger and more trustful.
And it shouldn't be a secret that the very next week after your well-performing launch - offer owners will constantly monitoring your traffic source and eventually go for it themselves (unless you clean refs and hide your sources)
