Fully right! as you see on my picture i always comment on 280 BE blogs per run but this 280 are the best (PR, alexa, nofollow cleaned) of 1.5 million urls i harvested with 7000 keys.

Good idea!! i forgaot the bak file!! this is version 1.12.34. i think i will work with this version since sweetfunny drop a new superb update.
 
Sorry If this question has been posted before... can somebody point me to a post, tutorial video, etc where I can see how to publish rss feeds with Scrapebox?

I found a problem when running the LinkChecker. Probably with other windows too.
When the Linkchecker works and you minimize SB and take it back you cant use it anymore because the SB-MainWindow has the focus. When you didnt moved the Linkcheckerwindow before you cannot access Scrapebox then. You can only crash SB and start again.

And it seems I was to early to say the LinkCheckerbug that causes false positives is fixed. Its already there.
So when you search for links like:
domain.com

Every link on a page that contains
otherdomain.com/domain.com/something
or
domain.com/something
is found.

The same can happen when you search for domain
domain.com
www.domain.com
or
http://www.domain.com

So I cant find out if my Statsites are working or not. Because the LinkChecker finds these false positives.

SF already wrote a lot of times that he has problems with bhw. Constantly getting errors. And he wants to get emails instead. No posts or pms when it is for support that cant be answered from other forumusers.
 
For the users that are wondering what these ping-things are...

RSS-Mode of SB:
Is for pinging RSS-Feeds. ONLY RSS-Feeds. That means if you have a blog or website or even a backlink at another site that has a Feed you can collect the URLs of these feeds and ping them with this feature. As a result the pinged services are aware of the feed. Its something like saying "Hello, I have a feed here"

Ping-Mode:
This is used to inflate the visitor counter of a website. You can use this to send virtual visitors to a site. For whatever reason. But there is another thing in it. You can spam Websites that have a public Visitorstat. For that you can set a referrer. For example you want to create backlink for one of your sites. Name domain1.com. And you know that domain2.com to domain5.com have public visitor stats. Then you set up the pingmode and set your website domain1.com as the referrer. When you know drive traffic to the domain2 to domain5 then at the stats your backlink will appear. Because it looks like this website got visitors that came from your site.
You should notice that this is a kind of spam and when someone is angry about it he could try to suspend your internet or similar. And the backlinks arent forever. They will vanish after a time.

Rapid Indexer-Addon:
This is not a ping in the normal way. Its used to gain backlinks and can help your sites to get indexed faster in the searchengines.
It works the way that you specify your domain that you want to index and load the stat-urls. Then the rapidindexer visits each of the statsites and by doing this at the statsites is a page created that contains a backlink to your site. Thats all.

A Pinger like the ones that Blogs are using (which is able to do the same thing like RSS-Mode does only that it works for every normal url) isnt built in in SB at the moment. I dont know if it will someday but it would be great.

Well when you submit an RSS feed it is more or less just a ping in most cases. When it comes to sites that require a login thats different. However if you watch the RSS bot video it only submits to 4 or 5 sites that require a login, the rest can just basically be pinged.

In reality, submitting to rss feeds is a great way to get indexed and bring in some backlinks, but its not going to blow away your rankings or anything. So I would say Scrapebox accomplishes both getting your site indexed and bringing in quality backlinks via RSS pinging as RSS bot does.

If you want to get indexed it will work fine, you only need the crawlers to find 1 of the links, finding a dozen won't help you be more "indexed"

If your wanting backlinks, RSS is not where you want to be focusing anyway, its just a nice bump. You want to focus on blog comments and use the other free tools sbox gives you to get nice bumps as well.

Thus for $30 for RSS bot or $57 for scrapebox, scrapebox totally dominates RSS bot and basically renders it pointless. (generally speaking for all realistic purposes).
 
Guys, can I ask for a help?

Guys, Why does my scrapebox doesn't work on background? I mean, when i tried to run scrapbox commenting mode for blog engine blogs, it was just there, I can't minimize it and I can't even use anything on my pc while scrapebox is running.

Any ideas?
 
@scottlies: The moment you posted here in the forum, was your browser minimized and in the background? No, your browser had focus, so you could post. Same is valid for SB when posting to BE. When SB does not have focus, it would not be able to post to BE, just like you would not be able to post to this forum when your browser is minimized.

Thanks for the reply, but, when I posted on this forum , i stop scrapebox from running.

What I am trying to say is this; when im using scrapebox in my pc, i can't do anything until scrapebox finished running.

How bout you? if you are running scrapebox? can you do more on your pc? meaning, scrapebox runs on your background while you do something else online? Because me, I cant.
 
What I meant is, ScrapeBox need to have focus, to be the active application, in order to post to BE blogs. When SB is posting to BE, it behave just like a browser.

Lets assume you currently use firefox. When you post here, your firefox is the active application, and has focus. This allows you to submit your post. Same is valid for SB.
When you would minimize your firefox, you would not be able to post here in the forum, so does SB.

And now i get it, feels like i should post to BE blogs during my idle time e.g lunch breaks or midnights or any time when im not using my pc that much.

So it was only for BE blogs but for other blog platform such as wp and movable, it doesn't need that focus? Am I right?
