I've searched through this whole thread looking for a solution as to why the blog engine poster no longer works. I see several others having the same issue with no answer. I seem to get failed on every post attempt using the default slow poster. Manual does work though. Some of the sites take a little while to load up in manual, but in slow poster, it fails pretty quick.

Maybe it's something to do with the timeout for page load? Not sure what the problem is. Can we get an answer for this other than the generic, "are you using slow poster?". Thanks SnF, great program btw.

I sent posts to 960 Blog Engine urls earlier today and MORE than 99% success rate on the commenting!. Yes just 9 failures.

Then used the link checker and around 60% were confirmed. Did a random manual check from the list prepared by the link checker and they too confirmed the links.

I will upload the screenshots when I have time and details of my configuration etc.

If you updated your SB you will have got a prompt saying you have to have scrapebox as the top window/process else they will fail when using the slow commenter! You cant have SB running in the background when posting to blogengine blogs, they did some updates to prevent spam!

On my machine Scrapebox prevents me from doing anything else when posting to BlogEngine. Is that not the case for everyone?

Not a problem though as it is a spare machine.

Im glad you said that, this morning I checked my emails and then SB started to pop to the front of everything! Maybe its a new feature, a good one though

Harvested 70K Blog Engine urls last week, removing duplicates took the list down to 5K. Ran the 5K through the Blog Analyzer Addon to confirm 3K were acceptable. Posted to the sites over the last week and this gave me the final list of 960 urls.

Scraped for approx 50 live proxies. Created 1000 random names and emails.
Just one website entered for the backlink. Simple one line comment with spinning syntax and no links. Tested comments were spinning ok.

Confimation that 951 of the 960 comments were posted can be seen in the screenshot at

Once you have the system set up you can create hundreds of backlinks in your sleep i.e. just keep fine tuning the urls that you harvest.

Just purchased the software ...got activated with in a few minutes....Looking for some good footprints..
let me know if you know of any..

Hi Folks,

Are you getting more "Failed, timeout" when posting on WP blogs with the slow commenter ???

I didn't get that much Failed, timeout last week when I posted comments, but since this week it's getting horrible, maybe it's the last release ?

Let me know if you have the same problem, I'll contact sweetfunny if it's not "only" me posting on crapy WP's.

Cheers,

Which proxies are you using i.e. are they fresh?

I'm jealous. It used to work perfectly fine for me, but since the update it no longer works. SB is the only thing active on the machine, and it is the main focus so that shouldn't be the problem. I'm running it on WinXP too...

I figured it out. I went to see if there were any library updates on Windows Updates and to my surprise, IE said I had to enable ActiveX. Went into IE and saw that my JS was turned off. I didn't realize that my IE settings were affecting SB.

Hope this helps anyone else having the same problems.

Private (paid) proxies, so yes they're totally fresh and virgin :D

Do you have any idea ? How much % of comment succeed with slow poster ? (I can't remember how much success I got before but i'm pretty sure I got at least 10-20% comment success with the slow poster...)

Forgot to say but I'm using decaptcher.com (but actually there isn't a lot of wordpress blog requiring a captcha from the run i did...)

I used the rapid indexer a lot lately and would like to suggest to change the order of submissions. Instead doing all domains at one service at a moment better do one domains at all services first. This way the servicesite wouldnt hammered so hard at one moment with multiple connections. I think this could be taken as spam or something. Better first one domain with all services.
Only little suggestion...

Do you mean, for example, if you have:
site1.com
site2.com
site3.com

and are submitting them to:
index1.com
index2.com
index3.com

that it would submit
site1.com->index1.com
site1.com->index2.com
site1.com->index3.com
then move on to
site2.com->index1.com
etc.
???

Would be a nice little enhancement if that's what you mean. Another nice enhancement would be an alive checker for the service sites to weed out the dead ones prior to submission.

Are you running the Alive checker on your target list before posting?

Check the latest Rapid Indexer :)

Check the latest Rapid Indexer :)

Thanks - good to know. Damn sweetfunny is quick with the updates and enhancements.

Reminds me of another tweak I'd like to see - an option auto-update all addons to the latest versions. I forget to update them pretty often.

I just bought a copy, can't get it to verify my license yet (probably an issue with my computer), but support is very prompt about getting back to you. I sent them an e-mail today with a screen-shot showing that my program still says (license not validated). Waiting for their next reply. I might need to format a computer & transfer it to another PC, worst case. I definitely don't want a refund, I've heard nothing but good reviews about this software.

I have a feeling they will help me get it up & running, or transfer the license to a PC that has a fresh install of XP, i can't wait! Of course I'll post again and update on their support :-)

Oh 1 question, which language is scapebox programmed in, c++, vb6, or .net?
