I had an idea for your business. You know what you can do? You can extract the script from your videos, translate them into Spanish using ChatGPT with a prompt that is realistic and has good spelling. Then, you can input the text into platforms like Elevenlabs to create audio in Spanish or any language you prefer. After that, you edit the video with the audio from the other language and upload it to Udemy, but in the Spanish version. This way, your market will have expanded, and it honestly won't take you much time to do it, to be honest.

I think your on to something here. I'll have a go doing text based transcript first, and check if it increases people within that specific language group.

If I wanted to put on, how could I look for the niche?
Assuming that I sell products online, I know how to do market research but I actually don't know how to do it on udemy.
Just simply search for the keyword see if there are videos about that thing and maybe cross-reference it with google ads/goole trends to see if it's something that people are interested in. Or maybe there is some special tool? Born for Udemy....

I've had a massive increase of people buying the course and leaving reviews.

I'm now at 38 students with $150 made.

DAY 20: UPDATE

Got a bunch of new signups from the black friday specials and cybermonday stuff. I've also managed to be a few more natual reviews from Udemy. They have all been 5 stars except for one that was 4 stars.

I've had a company from USA ask for a partnership on one of my courses. It was the first mini niche. It's perfect for their target audience and they run some sort of academy with lots of courses. They have asked for them to push the course and take a cut. I've asked them to book a meeting in my calendar to talk further, might be an easy way to get extra traffic.

I have added some new captions in a different language for one of the courses. It was recommended by another user here. Hopefully I'll see an increase in that country after adding the language.

This is before tax, which for me is 5%.
All of this goes to me, and is my commission from the sales. None of the income money listed goes to Udemy.

how much has udemy kept for themselves?
And won't people be able to rip off your course and resell it?

People do that all the time but it doesn't affect sales as much as you think, you can report it to google and the will remove it but as i said people that will try to search for your course for *free* won't pay for it in the first place
