DAY 14: UPDATE

Man does time fly, already been 2 weeks since launching the course. So far each day I'm organically getting 1-2 new students. Along with that I also got my 3rd review which is from a random person that actually took the course. 5 star review so I am happy with that. The other 2 reviews are from people I know so I don't count those as actual reviews (but Udemy does ).

I haven't done anything else to the courses since the start, it is now strictly passive income just watching it grow. I do think I should make more courses as this could turn into a very lucrative niche if I manage to make enough courses.

Third , Have you done any promotion like paid ads or anything aside of distributing to few family members?

selection something you know and then niche further down. You need to know atleast something about the niche if you plan on creating a course on it.

Everything is a keyword at the end of the day, but yes I made sure my main keyword was in title/description.

My courses show in udemy search, and one is ranking on Google for some terms. I started with no students and brand new tutor. Never used udemy before this journey.

No paid ads or anything like that. Shared on some social networks. All this is organic.

I have it linked to my other socials that are relevant. So I'm all okay there, it's more about seeing what comes directly from Udemy, as thats why I put it there. For their reach/users.

If I was going to promote it more of my side, I would instead put it on course platform to host myself. Avoiding paying fees to Udemy.

Things have been picking up. Over the last couple days I have gotten more people purchasing the course. It looks like a lot of people are buying because of the Black Friday specials (you can see the coupon code).

It has been good and caused me to now have 25 students and passed $100 in revenue, which is awesome!. Besides from that not much else has happened, just getting more and more people joining the course.

Thanks! Was surprised how easy it was. I will say I used to be like you a year ago.

I avoided revealing who i was when doing online stuff. Then a year back i said screw it. Started showing my face, voice, and operating under my real name. Its been way easier to make money this way, and adds a level of trust i think as well.
