The Journey to Greatness

Day 97 to 99 - 3.11 - 5.11.2023

Planned tasks:

1) Arrange some clients' work. // done
2) Bidding on projects. // ongoing | looking forward to get 1-2 more clients.
3) Technical setup and planning. // done | few more things left
4) Testing phase. // ongoing
5) Warming up accounts. // ongoing

I am looking forward to getting the new project started asap. Will combine paid and free traffic. The goal is to expand and not rely on just one traffic source.

I will update this thread few times per week until I launch everything, then I will do daily posts with the tasks done for the particular day.

In the next 1-2 weeks, I will update the thread weekly since I have to finish up few more tests before starting with the main sites. It will take some time to accumulate traffic, but I was worried about account bans, etc., so I had to first go through that testing phase and check whether I will have to adjust the plan.

For now, it's all good. I had just 1 day off this week.

Day 101 to 106 - 6.11 - 12.11.2023

Planned tasks:

1) Offline work and solving problems // done | many problems in the offline biz this week with some machines, but I managed to solve them.
2) Bidding on projects. // ongoing | the campaigns for the current clients are going great, but I will still need to get 1-2 more clients for a monthly work. I will carefully select them though, because I don't want to put all my time in managing their sites/online campaigns.
3) Technical setup and planning. // done
4) Testing phase. // ongoing | 1 important test left
5) Warming up accounts. // 50% done | 1 account is ready | 1 more will be set up asap
6) Register few more social media accounts. // to do
7) Downgrade and move the previous projects on a cheaper hosting. // 90% done | 1 site left
8) Buy and configure a new VPS for the new project. // done | this VPS is cheaper than the dedi I was using for the previous projects, so that's why I went with it.
9) Pass one exam today. // done | full score

Priority tasks:

1) Finish the last test from 4).
2) Register and profile the last social media accounts.
3) Design the main product landing page with video for it.
4) Set up the main site.

well, tbh, I was surprised it went much further 2nd page. Obviously, you know what are you doing. Although it is not my business specialization- well done and best wishes in your future endeavors

Thanks. I actually had to pause the previous projects and move to something else since mid September which I'm developing now. One of my managers contacted me few days ago and they are closing whole GEOs for promotion, so it's not worth it anymore.

Recap on the last week:

I had two days off and two days working on clients' sites for BF campaigns.

Day 107 to 109 - 13.11 - 19.11.2023

Planned tasks:

1) Bidding on projects. // ongoing
2) Testing phase. // done
3) Warming up accounts. // ongoing | all accounts are set up and warming up (will be ready by December)
4) Register all social media accounts. // done
5) Downgrade and move the previous projects on a cheaper hosting. // done
6) Design and test the tracking logic and databases. // done | will do it with my own setup and pull the SQL data in some dashboard viewer tools
7) Design the main product landing page with video for it. // 80% done | waiting for the video to get done
8) Main site setup. // to do
9) Buy and set up all the necessary tools. // will be about $60/mo
10) Publish the first blog posts. // to do

I'm looking at starting around December with the traffic generation part. One of the ad accounts though will need a longer warm up period, so not all traffic sources will be utilized in the beginning of December, but I am looking forward to doing that until the end of December.

Any new campaigns will be run with separate domains on aged dummy accounts first and then will be deployed to the main ad accounts to avoid potential problems. Will start with 2 or 3 GEOs.

I won't turn on monetization for the main site until there is a steady traffic for about 2 weeks. Then will turn it on and direct the traffic to the main sales page.

I am keen to learn how this will develop further. Best wishes and keep us informed!

Recap on the last week:

One day off, six work days.

Day 111 to 116 - 20.11 - 26.11.2023

Planned tasks:

1) Bidding on projects. // ongoing
2) Design the main product landing page with video for it. // done
3) Main site setup. // 70% done
4) Buy and set up all the necessary tools. // done
5) Publish the first blog posts. // to do

I'm having problems with some of the ad accounts which will slow me down. Will change the provider and give an update on how things are going after about 2 weeks from now.

I don't want to mess things up on the fundamental parts and have problems down the road, so a solid foundation is the first priority now.

Quick update:

1) Got a couple of new clients.
2) Started a JV with an old friend of mine on an ecom project.
3) Passed the last exam for this year.
4) Completed everything regarding the new project - site/landing pages/VSL, etc.
5) Unfortunately I run into some ad account problems, but I found the cause and now I am warming up a new batch.

As a side note: I tried promoting the same stuff I did earlier this year. Usually with 50 eur in ad spend, I'd get 100-120+ eur plus in revenue but now it's not working at all. That being said, I had to close all of the previous online projects.

I have written down everything I have to do, however I complete some steps fairly quickly and I get stuck on others, so it will be like that until I am ready with all tests.

Will start updating the journey regularly once everything is set up. Cheers :)
