How are you doing your keyword research? Are you going for the low haging fruit keywords?

At first I started looking for keyword with less volume, about 250. But as I rank better, I don't care trying keywords with more volume because I realized that volume isn't the key-factor in keyword difficulty, although it's highly correlated.

Now I mostly determine the keyword difficulty by myself, by seeing who are my competitors and other variables.

I ask myself questions like: Does sites that are "in my league" rank for this keyword or only "superstars"? If there are sites in my league, how do they compare to mine? Where do I stand in relation to them?
If they aren't that better and they can, then so can I.
Even tho, I use SemRush before this, but I think I don't want to talk about my proccess right now. I don't even know if it really works.

But even if I write an article for a keyword and it doesn't rank, I try to not be negative. To be honest. I really trust that my website authority will go up, so a lot of articles will "rise from the ashes" when it happens.

I don't quite remember if I found it first in my "experiments" for creating a script to find expired domains or in expired-domains.net. But I know I've seen the domain in a expired domain website.
The price was as cheap as it can get for a domain in my country, about $8 dollars.

I have a list with like 3 other DA 20+ domains for this price, but I don't know if it's really worth to buy it and try to flip or sell backlinks (since I don't have a multi-ip network, so I would only sell 1 backlink per network and not per site).

Site 2 and Site 3 have less than 10 articles I guess.
Site 1 has 119 articles, mostly written with the help of ChatGPT. I usually create an post structure in my mind and then use multiple sources. From each source I ask ChatGPT to create an aticle structure using this source informations.
I almost never use ChatGPT "by itself" because the chances of it allucinates and give false information is extra big. So I get trustable sources first to use it as a "lake".
Then I "frankstein" my way to write the article.
Some sources have a better introduction, others have a better h2 section, etc.

Sorry for my bad english, it seems to only get worse with time. lmao

UPDATE: Still writing and writing and writing articles. Looking for keywords, but since I had this Google Discover traffic, I'm trying to optimize my articles for Discover too.

I think I found a partnership with a backlink seller. He said he will create some backlinks to me, but I'll be 5x in debt with him. That is, when my project is stronger, I'll create backlinks and he keeps the money. Let's see how that rolls.

Search results are going up, maybe more than 100%. Sunday is usually it's my worst traffic day, but today (Monday) it went up. If this traffic continues, I'll be happy.


I guess google decided to keep Discover traffic for a little while. Of course, it's not the initial boom of 4.5 clicks per day, but it's still a nice flow that keeps my visits high.
The last data of Discover is yesterday, but I received more clicks today than yesterday so I guess it is bouncing.


SemRush traffic trend for this month (ofc it may be messed because of Discover):


In AdSense, we kept it above $1 today.


In my psychological aspects, I'm happier and greedier. I just don't want to create a lot of expectations because it can backfire as frustration and inertia.
I need to understand that SEO is just a monetizable hobby, but not a job opportunity. Foot-on-ground, always.
But when I close my eyes I still dream with the scalability of this. But I could dream with anything, probably. I'm a dreamer. But I need money now.

Also, I'm waiting for my PIN to arrive, it will be nice to see this letter.

I'm thinking about getting some backlinks from US, EU or english-speaking websites. Site 1 is bilingual (WP Translatepress powered by Google Translate API) but its english pages barely get any access. Maybe it's because of this? I don't know. I'm just thinking about a better CPC and/or more traffic.

Saw some decent backlink offers here in BHW, but I don't know if it's worthy adding more expenses in my budget.

Psychological UPDATE: After that big boom from Discover, I'm feeling a little stagnated because the website isn't growing as fast as I want. But I think that event just raised my standards and that has good and bad effects.

Activity Update: I haven't got a traffic increase from the keywords I wrote for. I think I overestimated the power of my site and I may have to aim smaller-volume keywords. Also, I got a guestpost request right now (so $4 more dollars this month!). That made me happy.

Right now, if I got the money, I'm divided between two ideas: buying some good DA domains and create a PBN or investing the money in backlinks.
Any suggestions?
Also, is it any bad if a domain has only good Moz metrics, but not Ahrefs metric? Waiting for your answers, guys!

This week gains. It looks like my "minimum" for now is $0.20, with variations. I won't post tomorrow.

Tried to get a backlink for a specific article but I gues I was dumb and didn't choose a good website. I probably won't have the results I expected.
I'm not happy, but I'm not frustrated neither. Also, I think RPM is better since the Discover boom. Maybe Adsense is sending me better ads, idk.

Also, ads are not limited anymore! And my PIN hasn't arrived yet.

Yeah, I'm happy! Guess who made its first affiliate sale? That's right, SITE 2! Approximately $1.2 comission! SITE 1 is responsible for most clicks (but expensive products like smartphones, so probably not gonna have a sale in a good time), SITE 2 barely has traffic, but has made the first sale!



But... Won't say only the good news. Yesterday I was searching about domain flipping and such. I guess I rushed and bought two domains ($20), but now I'm thinking that it may have not been worth. Probably won't see this money again and won't sell them! Lmao

But overall I'm happy because I'm running all these sites in a really low budget and they are returning some money. Even if I'm on red now.

btw you should also higher the expactations do like 50$ a day as goal.
