1) It depends...I'm good at marketing but i can't code at all, that's why i spent lots on development...You can do that yourself if you know how
If you're on a budget you can always use any wordpress theme and host videos on sites like Doodstream.
2) Only posting what people is searching for. Working daily and adding atleast 20+ videos / day. Bought some backlinks from other sites but they don't really bring any traffic. 95% of my traffic is from search engines.
3) Custom development = They work on the script for me, add more features, tweaks and help me overall with anything web design related.
I upload all videos to my own storage server. I don't do embeds
But you can go that route if you want! My first 400 videos was embedded and some of them get big traffic
For that i recommend Doodstream.
CDN = Content Delivery Network, makes the videos load and play faster with no buffering. Only downside is that i have to pay per TB.
