As a paid member (either premium or Jr. VIP), you are allowed to reply to Hire a Freelancer threads, but not to create them for providing your services.

As a Jr. VIP, you are allowed to launch a sales thread (which costs $30 in addition to the membership) to offer your services.

If you are low on time, it is better to buy marketplace seller membership and start selling your services. Otherwise, wait for two months to reach jr VIP level and start selling at that time.

If you only want to get freelance gigs - you can get Premium membership.

If you want to also have the ability to sell in the Marketplace, you need to get Jr VIP or Marketplace Seller.
