Question about Adroll vs Google Ads - What to choose?

Hi everyone
I recently start promoting my affiliate marketing products and freelancer services through several social network with low success. Most of traffic seems useless and most people just put like, comment but don't click in my links to my websites.
I notice that google ads and adroll are good paid traffic platforms with a lot of satisfied costumers.

I know that Adroll is an ad retargeting platform used by brands to retarget users with ads across social media but google ads is the most popular ad networks in world.

According with you guys experience which one do you recommend for affiliate marketing products promotion and freelance services promotion?

It depends on your target audience. If you want a large audience, I suggest you go for Facebook, but it's more competitive.

I already tryied facebook ads before and it's just a waste of money. even when I use landing pages with capture email and then redirect to the offer I barely get sales. Like $300 investment in tier 1 countries and profit only $10 or even zero.
That's why I'm concern and with many doubts.

even when I focus only exact intrests related to my niche and only tier 1 countries(USA/CANADA) I keep anyway get "bombed" with Indians/pakis/nigerians/african countries people putting me tons of likes and supposed intrests in my products and end up buying nothing. that's the problem...

(PS: I have nothing against them but if they dont have money don't bother me and don't ask questions that lead to nothing)).
