I've been on reddit for too long. The biggest copyright incident I've experienced was the removal of the post. Events like this won't hurt your subreddit much. But it shouldn't happen too often.

They're strict with spam in general. Your copyrighted content may or may not be banned depending on whether or not it is reported to the admins.
