Generally speaking Wordpress, Movable Type, and B2evolution are nofollow. At least thats how they are setup by default.

So it takes someone modifying it to make it ****************. Really though, we aren't after just **************** links. I mean Y! and B don't even use nofollow. So any link is good for them and having nofollow links look natural. Especially if a large portion of your links come from the blog commenting market, then Big G knows that a large portion of them should be nofollow, so long as its a natural footprint.

posted my figures to make other people aware thats all, no need to explain but thanks though,

Personally, I dont even bother using scrapebox to post to Wordpress, movable type or Blog engine, I'l llet everyone else do that!!

I find much more success posting to drupal, B2Evo and Expressionengine blogs, there might be less of those blogs but a lot less of you guys are hammering those ones !
:-)

(BTW generally speaking I have found about 15% of b2evos to be ****************, a lot better than WP )

Does someone know if it is a difference when you spin a comment like that:

{T|t}hanks...

Does it make a difference for Akismet? Same question for the Name-Field...
-------------
I made a test what happens when you have 2 comments in your file. First is heavily spinned so that 48 versions are available. Second is only spinned lightly so there are 2 versions available.
I found that the first comment is chosen same often like the second comment. That means when you spam 100 successful posts 50% will be the second comment. And with the slight spinning it means there are 25% and again 25% of the comments the exact same.
You should keept that in mind when spamming.
Im asking myself if it wouldnt be wiser to choose the comments not per line and then spin them but instead make a list of all spinned comments and choose them. This way you would have 48+2 different comments that are spammed. Which means statistically on 100 sites only 2 comments are the same.

@Those who have very few results from harvester

I noticed that after one of the last updates the number of results that are wrote in the lower left corner was set to 1. I dont know why this happened but I dont think I did it. So maybe you should look at this place when your results are too low...

Is the RSS-Feature working? I tried it with the Websites.txt and RSS Services.txt that are in the RSS-directory but all 214 Failed. Even without proxies 0 success. Is there a bug?

It would be nice when the marker %WEBSITE% would be optimized so that a custom anchortext could be set...

At the moment the websiteurl is the anchor. Something like %WEBSITE{Free IPod}% or similar would be nice. So that the Anchor is Free IPod...

Thanks man.

I do have proxies from YourPrivateProxy.com, but I've been advised to only use those for commenting. It'd be a bit expensive to get a second set of proxies.

Why have you been advised to only post with those proxies? I mean you might not want to harvest urls and check PR with them. However if you are only posting to blogs, your IP is kept private and big G doesn't know what ip you used, so from that stand point you might as well have used your own IP.

I use my same proxies to check PR and to post. In fact I was using them to harvest, but I was going crazy and they got blocked. Just waited a couple of days and they work fine now. Anyway, that was before I stopped to think and I just got scrapebox happy. :D

Got it. :)

I haven't had much success with Drupal. Perhaps I just gave up on it too soon, I will have to give it a try. What kinds of success rate do you have?

Good to know b2evo is that high. I did some tests on it, and I came out with a much smaller percentage. It was a pretty small sample group though. I still use it, I just never stopped to retest on a larger scale.

/sigh/

yep, first post after yours was the nth time someone asked about finding d0follow sites

is anyone interested in this idea or should jammo and i just go about our various business matters?

Im up for your idea Gregs. Would be really cool if you could record the sessions as well and post them somewhere. Either way im in as long as im available when you do it.

the problem is you see there arent that many out there compared to the other platforms,

For example today I whittled out a list of just 500 general Expression engine blogs, and managed to get 50 autoapprove do follow links from it,

As for b2evo, you need to play with footprints, and let me clarify aswell I dont mean 15% from harvested to posted (I wish) I mean 15 % of anything that says posted in SB I get an autoapprove do follow, for example today I just scraped 1000 unique B2Evo urls but only about 300 of those ended up successfully posting, out of those 300 a I got about 100 links and about 40 of those where do follow

I had difficulty finding drupal blogs before but again I have managed to find small clusters, and I get more Autoapprove Do Follows out of small clusters than I do out of large WP blasts

In order to get better harvesterresults I have 2 suggestions.

There could be an option called "Harvester Searchfallback" that when checked is doing the following:
When SB is harvesting a result and the proxy isnt working then it retries every proxy in the list. When each proxy failed the result is lost.
So at this state this particular result could be gathered through the real users ip. Without a proxy. It doesnt happen too often that each proxy fails so the searchengineban for the own ip shouldnt happen too fast. But the results could be way more constant this way.

Second suggestion would be a slider named: Retry Proxylist x times.
So when one keyword-searchengineresultpage-combination couldnt be gathered with each proxy in the list then normally this combination is lost.
But this setting could force SB to retry the proxylist x times. Maybe after 30seconds or so again.
The reason why this could work is that the ips arent blocked forever. And mostly only the ip is blocked. Because of that it should be possible to get a real good result.

Together should these options raise the ability to gain all possible results... :)

I agree that should help

At the moment, I simply export the failed search results when harvestings finished, re-test all my proxies and fire the exported list through the harvester again.

Sometimes (depending on keyword list size) I may have to do it 3 or 4 times to get every keyword result.

Here is a small handful of proxies for people to try out. These all tested with a less than 600ms response time - though I didn't use ScrapeBox to test them.

Let me know if they are any good - and if so I can post some regularly. If they are crap - then also let me know. :)

I cant believe that I didnt saw the exportfeature in report till now. Thanks for pointing me to it... and Thanks @Sweetfunny...

I will stop posting if Sweetfunny asks me proxygo, and don't intend to make a major habit of posting here eitherway...

I don't want to start a argument here - I think we are both above that. But as I see it, it is little different to you posting here saying your VIP forum has been updated... :) Along with the associated screenshots... ;)

That said, I have no problem creating a thread in the proxy section. :)

Didnt you post proxylists herein too?
---------------
@SF

It seems that sometimes after a restart of SB my resultsetting is set to 1 again. I mean the result in the lower left corner. Dont know why. Maybe my ini is too big? I have a big list of useragents...

proxy testing hangs up on me at the end of testing. One proxy will hang each time since the last update.

HAS ANYONE else had this problem? I tried to run my posts today, and all of my proxies get a "407" error. I can't harvest, I can't post, I can't do anything.

I am using proxies from YourPrivateProxy.com.

My firewalls are turned off. Why does this keep happening??

HTTP 407 = proxy authentication required

I talked to Scrapebox support, and they say that you simply put your proxies into Scrapebox and you should be fine...

But sometimes proxy services require you to input your list of proxies like,

"protocol://username:password:proxy:

Or whatever...

It seems to keep changing. YourPrivateProxy.com is the recommended proxy service for Scrapebox...why are their proxies suddenly not working?
