How much should I charge to scrape data for a company ?

Hi everyone,
as the tittle said I'm looking to know how much should I ask to a company for scraping social media url of their niche.

I guess it depend on the company size but what's the main thing that "boost" the value of your scrap.

Imagine I scrap 4k twitter/insta account of the company niche so they can run advertising campaign, should I ask a price per account ? A price per day ?

I'm really new on this so I take any tips on how you monetize scraping.

so my advice is to charge an hourly range between 25$ to 50$ per hour the price depends on your experience
if you have no experience then I prefer to get your first client and don't charge too much
gain clients and make them happy

Some multiple based on Units of data crawled is usually a good starting point. You calculate the cost of collecting X rows of datapoints, calculate how much it costs for 1 row. And multiply that by some multiple of your choice.
This is usually useful when your selling it as a service.

Otherwise there are other models like charging a flat fee in exchange of the source code+infra setup or charging hourly based on some rate.

I was not sure about this part but now I am, thanks for your advice and yes the fact I ask here how much I shoud charge them and not trying with some company before is because they need the data really soon, it will make it easier for me the use that and really point this when I talk to them, thanks for your answer !

thanks for your advice mate, I was thinking about 15/20$ since that would be my first mission in scraping. I'm not hard in negociation and I don't over evaluate my capacity also I prefer to say less and get some experience/feedback.

Not a lot since I already have the proxy and the server, that's a reason that push me to do that tbh

I really like your way of charging them, both that you said are really instresting but I guess that the best way for me to find wich one of this two would be the best is as you said is to calculate and see if the price stay attractiv for both side.

Jokes aside, great advice. Also when you're selling anything cheap is bad. High quality and expensive is ideal.

Because in my experience the customers buying cheap products are incompetent, impatient, or fraudulent a lot more than those shelling out more money.

The goal is not to undercut the competition. It's to market better, deliver better, and retain more than the competition.

This goes doubly for selling to other businesses. And an added bonus is customer service is a breeze.
