Dude,

I set site: parameter at footprint.

For keywords, i added the urls what i always do. (selected blogengine also)

I only selected google. Opened 10 threads. After doing this, i harvested total of 7k urls. And after removing duplicates it is 700! I always do this with scrapebox and it always finds 0 duplicate urls. There is something wrong and i am sure :)

Just a question about proxies, and im sorry if this has allready been answered. So I bought scrapebox a few days ago, and im just testing it out, not doing anything major until I get to know it better. Im using the loaded proxies in scrapebox, I load them test them and use these proxies. I put in a list of keywords, and started the url harvest for wp blogs. 3 hours and I managed to harvest 110k urls. After removing duplicate urls im now down to 35k urls. So my plan would be to load new proxies within SB test them delete the bad ones and start posting. Now my question is:
If I used private proxies, would I have got more harvested urls? I mean a hell of a lot more? I actually thought 35k urls was good? I know a few proxies timed out, and I lost them, but im just wondering if there is a big difference. I guess people will say that when I start posting its better to have private proxies, so please let me know your thoughts.
Si

It's not so much that you would necessarily get a lot more search results (though you very well might), but the faster and more reliable your proxies are, the faster you will get your search results back.

Once again... delete your cookies and load the site again. You will probably see your comment isnt there... Its only the cookie that let you see the comment in browser... But its not really there until moderated.

You are wrong. I did tests over 100k urls. %60 - %70 of those moderated msgs are wrong, they are auto approve. SB does not observe the msgs correctly in my opinion. This can be fixed by refreshing method but it will take time band etc.. I tried with different 3 computers.

Isnt it possible anymore to see the details in multiharvester? I mean what keyword is requested, what proxy is used, is the proxy successful and so on...

At the moment I dont see what the havester is doing. I put 10 rubbish test-keys in and started. It stated 10 connections and found some results. Status aborted after some time...
Now I dont have control about what happens. I dont know where in the keywordlist is the harvester and dont know if the proxy is working and so on...

Isnt it possible to have a log with maybe the last 100 logentries? So that I can see: google stopped at keyword "key" because it runs out of proxies. Or similar? At the moment its some kind of a blackbox. For example when google stops working at some point I have no chance to start the harvesting again at the keyword where it stopped and so on...

I really would like to have some kind of a log...

Ok... then it will be the testingroutine... Dont know how it works but youre right... when it will need another loading of the blogpage you can be sure people will complain about bandwith...

Go to :

Settings -> and UNCHECK the "Use Multi-threaded Harvester" to put it back to old style.

This is ok, Sweetfunny tries to implement every requested feature and bug fixes. Also the cookie part is correct. To check links, export valid results to a file, close SB, reopen SB and import list. Then you can check it

Without reloading the blog, SB must rely on information it can get from the loaded blog page before the post is made.
Blog owner tend modify their blogs, using different messages, templates, even customize the code.
This makes it very hard for SB to determine a moderated post.

Yeah, and also just to really reiterate and emphasize another point - parsing back and re-interpreting all the related data would make ScrapeBox (or any other app that tried to do something like that) really really really slow. Sweetfunny is trying to strike a balance between gathering useful info and making the app very fast. And it does that job quite nicely, IMHO.

How when it can be doing 2,000 connections at once, 2000 keywords at once in 4 different states across the 4 engines because each engine harvests at a different rate with 2,000 proxies?

The details you want would be a blur and unreadable. Imagine a 2,000 line text file with every line changing every second, do you think viewing that would be beneficial?

Anyone else getting 0 results on google even using good proxies?

Maybe I need to look at the ini... hmmm

will report back..

EDIT: Just reverted back to 1.12.7 and getting google results great... I am getting no google se results in 1.12.9

The only 100% sure fire way to tell if a comment was posted and moderated is hack the blogs admin panel is see if it's in the moderation queue. The only sure fire way to tell if it was posted and auto approve is destroy session data such as cookies and cache (which SB does when it's restarted) then parse the full page again.

So as you can imagine when your firing comments at the rate of 10-20 per second, hitting millions of blogs you don't know in advance that can be hacked/modified in an infinite number of ways... It's not a simple task, you have to assume the header responses thrown back by the blogs is right and go from there.

This is true ... 5000 different results from 10000 blogs from the same from "get" and "post" command statements ... I gave up a months ago ...

I'm glad its not my brain :) - its amazing Sweetfunny has survived ...lol

Did i something different? It does not matter if it shows moderated or not as long as it shows posted. There are dozens of ways to check if it is auto approve or not. Best one is close/open SB and check via link checker for sure.

Sweetfunny please check out my decaptcher issue :/. Also it will be wonderful if you can add "AUTO remove duplicate urls" just like domains which comes in latest version.

No. Please no, Sweetfunny, don't add. The app is already getting slightly dumbed down, I know we can turn off some of the "I'm incredibly lazy" options, but please, the bigger issue here is actually one of my biggest gripes about software in general.

<rant>
IMHO, the biggest probs with both MSFT and APL operating systems are that they have tried to dumb down their OS's to the point where really stupid people can use them. And in trying to reach the lowest common denominator, they have really horked up their programs. A lot of other software developers have struggled with this, and it just keeps making their software worse when trying to make it more "user-friendly".

Thanks for the updates Sweetfunny. The new harvester layout is very nice indeed - the speed is great...as is the bandwidth monitor.

I really appreciate the work you are doing on this!

Not aside from buying access to premium proxies.

But I just started a proxy harvest of the "free" sources and about 25% of the proxies are passing the IP Tests so far for me. As a number of people have said, the harvested proxies are what they are - there are a lot of variables involved with proxies in general, and especially when they are being well-tested for use as sbox does - your geo-location, the level of anonymity desired, timeout and connection settings, your ISP, the list of variables in the life of a proxy goes on....
yea but I was having a nice success rate of free proxies using SB. Would harvest around 2000 and out of those 400 or so would be good. Now out of 2000 I get about 100 then when it goes back through them I get 0.
