I am currently using namecheap vps. It is surprisingly good. Also yes, I have used aws ec2, linode, digital ocean etc too. The only issue is with provisioning, which isn’t instant. You will have to wait for a couple of hours to get your vps activated.

I'm using Namecheap for my blog. The basic stellar hosting. So far it's okay. Had like 10 minutes of downtime in the last 2 weeks.

If you know what you are doing, you can migrate without even 1 minute of down time. I am not sure if namecheap offers such service because I like to do the migration myself. May be try contacting their support? Doesn’t hurt to ask.

Thanks for your response. Now I am considering VPS. I used to think they are super expensive. But now I see I can get one for as low as $5 (if I am not mistaken).

Plus I felt VPS are limited when compared to shared hosting with unlimited bandwidth, ssd etc.

I always assumed that equates to a better hosting for my sites.

But it seems complicated to set up. I have been using shared hosting all my life with cpanel that lets me install WordPress easily now working with VPS seems a bit daunting. But let me know if I have the wrong idea.

Please could you recommend a good VPS that would cost around $5 to $6 and let me host as many wordpress sites as I have without any issues in terms of space and speed.

Also Does the gb allocated to Vps not limit a lot of things?

2. Yes, you have to be tech savyy to use them but you can also hire someone at an average rate to install your stuff for you on the VPS and keep it updated.

4. Shared hosting is not unlimited , they just lie to you. On the other side, when buying a VPS they directly tell you what you own and how much you can use.
5. You can use oracle cloud vps free tier which lasts forever if you want to try VPS out, I have written a nice post on it on BHW
