Does BHW have secured transactions?

I have read the newbie training document. But I can't find the board for secured transactions. I recently tried to buy a guest post from Forbes. This service is worth $600. I posted one before, and I plan to do it via paypal. Because PayPal has a buyer protection program. Does anyone have any advice?

The forum will not assure that but an Escrow service is coming to Marketplace 2.0 so you can look forward to that, just order from a trusted, well-reviewed seller and you should be just fine, scammers in our marketplace are far and few between so you have little to worry about when working with a seller here.

That's why you should do your own research.

Try to pay with Paypal because if the seller tries to scam you, you should be able to get back your funds via Paypal buyer protection.

Also, you can open a dispute here too if you got scammed.

You're already protected by Paypal. Do your due diligence when making a big payment. That's the only way out right now here on BHW.
The sellers are not employed by BHW so no guarantees from them but there's a Dispute Resolution sub-forum if things go south.

As a seller here I can also list some ways buyers can try and scam seller here, so it is not so much only about what’s buyer going through, it’s also what’s seller going through.

If you look yourself on dispute resolution forum, sellers mostly have it more rough than buyer when it comes to fairness, I have seen some cases where there’s just about no one try to side with the seller, whether the case is indeed legitimate for a refund or not, what’s final is final and most of the time sellers suffer too.

Indeed scammers ruin the forum, but yeah it will always gonna be whenever there’s opportunity to do so…
