Hey guys!

I started my Cash Cow journey back in september this year. Things are going pretty good, averaging around 2k views per video which is just alright for someone who's beginning

However, I got a question. My channel is a pre-monetized one, with botted views (only for the first 4 videos that are not related to my niche, made specially to get the 4k watchtime hours) and subscribers

My most recent video has 18.5% CTR and 42% AVD (the video is 8:21 minutes long), and it got only 2.2k views, and this is not the only case where I get amazing stats and the video doesn't get any more views

Do you think this is because I have a pre-monetized channel?

I don't think that channel monetization has something to do with it.
YouTube tends to push new videos at the beginning. It is not uncommon for a video to do good in the first week or so and then stop.
It also depends on your niche, as some videos are outdated after a week thus nobody wants to see them anymore.

I know this, but it seems like I can't pass the 2.2k views mark on each video. They all stop here for some reason

How did you bot your channel?

How did you bot your channel?
I don't know, I bought the channel in August 2022
Check your CTR in the advanced tab under traffic sources.
What's your CTR for Browse Features and Suggested?
CTR for YouTube search dosent mean much in terms of getting recommended.
92% is from Browse Features

92% is from Browse Features
That's fantastic!
Is this a 92% CTR since lifetime of that video?
Just keep uploading and eventually you'll get a viral video with good metrics like that.

Yep, 92% CTR since lifetime of that video! However, the algorithm push stopped the third day after posting.. since then, I'm getting 2 views per day on that particular video

I am improving and improving, currently looking for experienced people (thumbnail designer and scriot-writer) to join my team, so we can create better content

Don't know how many videos you have posted and what type of content give some more information about this

My most recent video has 18.5% CTR and 42% AVD (the video is 8:21 minutes long)

This metrics are possible for news / current incident type of channel since the content is not evergreen videos won't get views after few days / week

I'm also in a similar situation. i got 1 viral video reaching 1600k views then i got stuck at 2-4 views some videos dont cross even 1k views i even improved the thumbnails and editing style voice over is also good i hope someone can answer.

Well in youtube its all about continue working even if you dont see results and you are stuck
Results come after many pain ,thats way are not so many people succesful because they quit tired of so many failures .
Those who continue no matter what they find the gold mine

My question for you is whether you stopped publishing updates.

Keep in mind that even if you are boosting the views of your videos, your newer videos might not get that many views if they are too few and far between.

It's really important to have a consistent publication schedule for your videos.

This is especially true for niches where relatively frequent updates are expected by your target audience.

Posted 42 videos until now (started in September). Not gonna disclose the niche, but it is a very evergreen niche, not based on trends. Competitors are making more than 10 million views per month

Metrics are the key.. just keep posting, you'll get there eventually

Absolutely! Not willing to stop anyway. Already learned a lot about this business model

No, I didn't stop, but using my time mostly focusing on my business

I never boosted any videos and will never do. I know how bad it is for a channel

And yeah, indeed, a schedule is necessary and I am being loyal to it haha

No, it's not due to pre-monetized channel.
Most of the time YouTube pushes the video for a certain amount of time after it was publised and stops.
Continue the work and the channel will grow.

I also do not believe the pre-monetized channel status is what's causing the views to stall at 2.2k
My advise would be to toll ahead with high-quality content at a consistent rate. Cheers.

This is my recent video. The length of the video is 8:03, so the AVD is 40% or so

Any reason why it didn't push it further? I'm really starting to think that the channel is affected by the algorithm in any way because it is botted
