Hey everyone, I'm just another digital marketer that evetnually went a bit blackhat.
So basically, I've got 5+ years of experience in several industries. Started off as Frontend Dev, after 1 year of working as Junior it wasn't working for me - I wasn't productive on only one project, ADHD or whatever. So it went something like this:
1. Through Freelance I learned Web Dev, in the meantime
2. Switched from coding to Wordpress
3. Technical SEO because I wanted to make better and faster sites
4. Onpage SEO next, why not take some extra cash with those sites?
5. Some client wanted to try out Google Ads at some point, so why the hell not
6. COVID hit hard -> lost my Frontend job -> turbo Freelance
7. Got hired in a marketing agency as Web Dev (but basically "anything-website" guy) -> did a bunch of VR Ecommerce stuff and Live Events streaming (COVID was still on)
8. In the meantime I've escalated to UX, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
9. Quit my job, got bored -> Found a new one in a SaaS Startup
10. 2,5 years passed (Product development, CX, User Retention & Tracking, Customer Data Integration & Process automation, working closely with the Dev team and optimizing every step possible - all that lovely SaaS stuff)
12. With a lot of growth hacking included we're now a company and I'm managing our Marketing team
13. Never stopped freelancing, got over 50 finished projects under my belt (I think)
I love working on SaaS. But, eventually, the whitehat marketing approaches and tactics started to bore me, same old, same old, the projects are always fun in the beginning and give me that dopamine, but after some time it's just the same lead-gen, SEO scaling, content marketing story all over again. So in time I started reading less of Neil Patel and more of BHW. So I guess now I'm here to introduce myself...
