The latest version crashes while posting to wordpress blogs. This happens 3 times while the number of blogs were pretty low (about 2800). It crashes at about 40-50% of the posting and repeateadly.

I noticed that it starts at 3% of RAM and end at 98-100% Ram. My computer is a new Gateway NV78, very fast 4GB Ram, Windows 7. It can handle many applications at the same time. I used to use Senuke and Scrapebox and Skype (opened)at the same time while watching a movie.

I just get back to the version: 1.10.20 and all work smoothly as always. The problem is with the new update.

I am going to wait until this is corrected.

I think its a RAM-Issue. Dont know for sure but when my SB crashes the RAM is low...

This may sound like a basic silly question (i have only had a chance to look at Scrapebox for 20 mins and not read much of the documents) but is there a way to use Scrapebox to make profile posts? Not commenting or anything just generating a profile and leaving my link.

Profile Posts? You mean like XRumer? At the moment SB cant create an account at blogs.

I ran a blast last night and everything was fine except when i was harvesting if I tried to do anything else on the internet at all I started to get error 404 on my private proxies. When I stopped browsing the internet the harvesting continued as normal.

I cannot afford to have a dedicated machine for scrapebox so was wondering if this is a bug. I have been using SB for about a month with no problems until this update.

I did a blast of 1800+ BE sites and 1200+ posted successfully. Ran the link checker and found 752 so quite a successful blast. Just took a little longer than expected due to the error when using the internet whilst harvesting.

752 Successful? Wow. I never had a checklinkrate near that... Do you have a trick?
Maybe I should try BE again...

The 404 should be random. Because its normally a message of the target website. It says that it couldnt find the page you requested. And that is a message from the targethost. So you reached the host.
I think google will show 404 too when you break its requestlimit...

I can't find method to promote ezinearticle or other article directory by scrapebox in scrapebox tutorial.Please show me how to.

Search youtube. Theres a videochannel with a video that describes exactly this.

I never have seen this so its probably a rare happening. You should find out which url is triggering that popup and simply delete it. Then it should run through.
When its not one url then it should be one of your used proxies.

I dont know other reasons.

Hey so i havent run scrapebox for a while and updated.. now im in trouble... it seems when i do a blast with 200 proxies for 3000 urls on wordpress it used to run fine and be done in like 10 min.. now its 13 minutes and counting only at 14% it seems scrapebox is trying every proxy for each url and its killing me.. it seems to destroy my bandwidth too.. how can I fix this?

The reason would be that the proxies dont work and SB tries another one. You cant do anything than use other proxies that work.

I just ran my first set of comments and found that it used the slow commenter. I searched every where to find the normal fast commenter (like in the videos) but was unable to get it of slow mode. I was commenting to blogengine blogs.

Is slow commenting the only option now?

Slow commenting is the only option when it comes to BlogEngine, not with the other ones.

It's well worth it, though, as BlogEngine is the best platform of the 3 in terms of getting your links to stick and being Do-Follow.

Did you set the timeout too low? The proxies are slow. So when they run in the timeout the next will be tried too.
I myself experience too that more and more proxies are gone. I only get a couple of free proxies than it was before. Overused I presume.

I can experience sometimes that at harvesting urls one searchengine will stop to harvest because the proxies are blocked by se.

The only solution I see ist to always have an eye on the connectioncount, have the keywordlist sorted as textfile and when I see that the connectioncount is smaller than 4 I look where it stopped. When its not at the end of the keywordlist i stop the harvesting, search new proxies and start the keywordsearch at this keyword where the one searchengine stopped.

Its only because everone and its neighbour is using the same proxies. And the searchengines only allow a couple hundred requests per hour. So at a time the requests are taken and google is blocking...

No solution here than that I described...

You're always going to run into small issues like this when using public proxies.

Why not get some paid ones? You can get 8 at Proxy Bonanza for about 5 bucks/month.

It's just not worth that hassle scraping new proxies every time you want to use ScrapeBox, in my opinion.

I just installed the new update and I'm getting this error:

"Unable to update ScrapeBox! The scrapebox process was not terminated within the specific period of time."

Any ideas what's going on? How do I revert back to the older version?

I'm newbies.I try to post comment in drupal or other type that no menu in scrapebox.When I comment blog what type that I choose for comment and what speed I choose fast comment or low.

How can I post only 100 comments rather than the whole list of url's?

I have not seen this option, is it possible or am I missing something?

I just upgraded my RAM and it did seem to help out. The new upgrade to scrapebox does seem to take up more CPU and more RAM.

Blog Engine can only post slow. That is the only option.
