Selling pics/romance scam
Oh lolThe majority of them are fraudsters and extortionists. They will lure you to share nude pictures and videos of yourself after which they threathen to send these pics to all your friends and family on social media platforms like Instagram Facebook, etc. unless you pay them. Once you pay them once, they will keep asking for even more money.
Other times it is a pig butchering scam, where you are lured to invest in a so called crypto investment website. Once your deposit says $100, you will watch your $100 grow to almost $1000 in a day or two. But whenever you want to withdraw the fake profits, you will be required to pay commisions, taxes, maintenance fees, and all manner of never-ending charges. Even while your invested funds are multiplying on daily basis.
Those profiles lead to fake social profiles, and the rest is history.

They are mostly based in Asia and Africa, although the Asians are more sophisticated in terms of tech, the Africans, are more conny, and have lots of patience and perseverance. They can even try to scam and not get a dime for a whole year, yet they have a firm belief, that just one victim, will change their story. The law here in Africa only takes effect if you are poor or not ready to grease the palms of law enforcement, agencies. Are they getting away with it by hiding behind proxies or are they based in countries where the laws are relaxed?
