Website for my YouTube Channel?

Was honestly looking to do this later on when my channel was more established but why not start early.

long story short, I started a YouTube channel years and years ago when I was 17, stopped when I was 20 due to YouTube politics and I ended up being featured on WorldStarHipHop also working with them and eventually racking up 15M + views. I decided to come back to YouTube after a 4 year break, specially since I discovered this community 2 years ago. I recently put up videos again, and happy to see I still get views and know how to work YouTubes algorithm, and even better in fact with the knowledge I learned here. My question is, what’s the best and simple way to build a website blog attached to it? It’s hip hop based and I want it to be focused and clean in terms of the layout.

any recommendations? Word press? Etc?

YouTube literally demonized my whole channel due to a legit bug in their system. This was around the time I got offered a partnership with WorldStarHipHop and everything, was literally at my peak. Couldn’t reapply for their YouTube partnership until a month passed, and my videos stopped getting promoted in their algorithm etc. it just got tiring. So that’s when I walked and eventually found this forum.

It is good to have a website for your You Tube channel and you can mention in your You Tube channel banner so that your audience will come to know that it is your official site. While it is true that majority of your views will come from within you Tube only but the site will help contribute few more views and help you establish a brand of your own.
