My B2C Media Buying Funnel

Thank you for the insight. Facebook is a good example. The traffic is expensive but the quality is amazing. However to run affiliate offers on facebook ad campaigns is a nightmare. Even if everything's compliant and properly done, you'll still face the ban hammer.

I want to diversify a bit my income, and leadgen is something that i've always wanted to try. Been doing this for 10 years... could've collected a ton of emails but i'm stupid lol.
Sounds like we have almost walked the same line for the same amount of time... I used to think emails weren't worth the toilet paper they were printed on... now I recognize they are little nuggets of gold that should be collected and cared for. And yea Fb... if only they would let me pay them money we could all be happy.

Exactly. Not collecting emails is leaving money on the table. Need to research a bit more on how i'm going to create a good email list without going bankrupt.

@Yekxmerr and @VolcanoMan one of the blackhat ways you can get targeted emails from facebook is scraping keywords, groups etc.

You can then either email them direct or use them as a list to target your paid ad campaigns. Then you segment the list down.

Thank you for the info. I didn't know scraping was still possible. Did it back in the day to scrape competitors ads.

Going to try your arbitrage method first and leave the BH stuff to last resort. By the way, do you always follow that structure: Pre Lander -> Lander -> Email Signup -> Offer Pitch, or have you tried reversing it a bit like:

Pre-Lander -> Email Signup -> Lander -> Offer Page

I did a ton of arbitrage 10 years ago on the Facebook Golden Days. Was banking 5 digits/m and only working 1-2 hours per day. Miss those days where everything was easy lol.

I have to be careful what i say as what i do is against the terms of bhw.

But i structure the funnel in the way i do so i can maximise how many times i sell the same lead.

BTW @GringoMonkey do you keep adding new users to your arbitrage e-mail lists? I bet that even with everything properly optimize, you'll still lose a % on every single email sent.

Thank you for the post btw, this actually gave me motivation to build a lead gen project. Going to try first grabbing leads from major traffic sources and pay a premium on it. After i get that thing dialed down, i'll move to try arbitrage cheaper traffic for qualified leads. For my first project i'll try to work on a niche that i know very well and already have landing pages properly optimized. It isn't a big niche but starting out with something i know will be better for the long run.

Your method is quite appealing because you're not leaving money on the table and monetize every single aspect of the user while diversifying your income.

Yes i keep growing the list. The key is i give it lifetime value not just 1x value.

I noticed you got traffic from facebook, that is a little off topic, but how i lower costs with that is build lookalike audiences and target that way. Watch roi rocket if you do that :)

Are you building your LLAs from the e-mail leads or offer conversions?

Hey GringoMonkey, do you teach others how to do this? For a fee of course!

You would need to either contact me via pm, after you have 15 posts or post in the haf section.

I am not allowed to solicit work in public.

I’ve posted a job In the Hire a Freelancer section, be good to hear from you GringoMonkey.

You build filters into your funnel and test.
"Which ad formats you use for selling traffic on pre landers? "
You say, you are profitable even on prelander level by doing ad arb. What is your ad placement strategy on prelander?
Are you using mix of banners, pops, direct links? Do you use agressive redirects/multi pop etc?

I explained, i dont use a blanket offer, i filter the traffic and send it to the most appropriate one, based on testing.

Damn! The rules won’t let him make this easy to understand for newbies.
