SSRIs have a terrible effect on me so, unfortunately, can't use them at all, except the short acting ones like Tramadol.
Dopamine agonists help but just a bit.
I'm on my 8th therapist in my life right now

I'm also under the supervision of 2 top psychiatrists who specialize in different fields of psychiatry. I've been diagnosed with ADHD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Luckily I don't have any mental problems or personality disorders that make me irrational. I don't mind talking about this, although it's a weird place to do so here, lol.
Breathing exercises help to slow down and get my parasympathetic system going, but It's simply too taxing to fight against it 24/7. Only thing that made me feel like a normal human being are benzos.
I tried a ton of stuff. Diets, cold showers, meditation, CBT, CBD. Nothing comes even remotely close to benzos
My current regimen is 50mgs of Tramadol in the morning for a slight serotonin/dopamine boost (at this dose, it has almost no opioid receptor affinity (the mu receptor)). Then I take 2.5mgs of Diazepam whenever anxiety kicks in too much(~2-3 times/day). 5mgs if it's bad. Xanax if it's terrible(maybe like once every 1-2 weeks now). Also I don't drink any alcohol or smoke anything. And I never went above the dosage prescribed by my docs. I feel some side effects, but, at least, I kinda feel like a human being.
The fucked up part is - would I be able to to get to $50k/mo profit without my brain working like this? Me, personally, probably not.
