What should be my next project?

All my projects are completed for 2022. I am free for the next 5-6 months. Therefore, thinking of starting a new project.
But I'm confused between the two.

1. Start a niche affiliate website - Choose a micro niche, write articles about it, and link with amazon.
2. Sell an online course - Choose a niche and talk about it on Quora, FB groups, and LinkedIn and link to a free tool or ebook. On the landing page, capture emails before releasing the tool/gift and upsell my course on the same page. And start selling my course in emails.

I want to give only 5-6 months on this. And my goal is $10,000 from it till the end of this year.
Let's say the amazon niche items are $10 to $50 with 5% - 6% commission, and the online course is around $100.

I am not a very disciplined kind of guy and also have ADHD.
Please give me some advice. Which of the two paths is worth going for to achieve the target in time?

I would go with selling online courses. After the pandemic blow, people have realized the importance of acquiring more skills and are hence nowadays more looking out for valuable courses.

The course can also give $0 though. Just like almost all internet marketing projects.

Unless the course is pretty much guaranteed to be good for 2+ years, I wouldn't take that route myself. How much do you need to earn $10,000 during this time? What happens if you earn $0? Do you already have some course ideas ready to go? If these are the only 2 options, for 6 month time period, I would have to go with micro niche site, because if you have to move on to other projects, you can leave this one unfinished and come back to it later more easily, and use it to help other projects in the future. The course is just very isolated and probably time-sensitive and potentially more time-consuming without the ability to outsource what it requires.

I'm not giving you advice if you're not disciplined enough to follow it. Pick something easier and come back to your original project ideas when you're ready.

A micro niche affiliate website is almost certainly lower effort than any course. Is there a reason you think the course is higher potential reward than the micro niche site? If earning through the Amazon Affiliate program, you get paid for more than just the product you linked to when people have an active cookie and make purchases.

Why not both, a niche affiliate site and a course on the niche promoted by the site along with other affiliate products.

Maybe because I didn't have much success with affiliate websites myself, I feel like you need more traffic in an affiliate website comparing to a course, to get the same results.

I didn't expect so much kind advice. Thank you all.
After reading all the comments, I'm thinking of creating a niche course that I'll promote on the website along with other affiliate products. In this case, I can't do amazon affiliate but have to look for other affiliate programs.
That is probably the solution to my question.

Definitely the course could get much more than you expected and you would continue that even after 6 months.
