Where to hold your Crypto

How did you lose there?

i wanna earn interests and also do grid Botting with bitsgap
So i wanna know what’s the best setup for this
its so easy to hack those wallets al people need is to get your private key...its impossible to hack your binance account becasue he need to make sms confirm and email confirm in 60 seconds and than 2fa...so you are safe there, but dont loose your phone or 2fa :)

What is your opinion n these wallets being removed from play stores often ?
Your funds are in the blockchain and not on the device or the mobile app. Therefore you can reinstall the official app on your desktop and use your seed phrase to access your funds.
If they are safe, why are they getting removed ?
I have been using hardware wallets for the past couple of years, and I have never noticed any official app being removed from the play store. But again, I never involve my mobile phone with anything crypto-related, so I am not in the loop with how Play/Apple app stores deal with this.

Crypto is a significant and unstoppable threat to banks/governments. So I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if apps do indeed get removed from centralized mobile app stores, yet that won't change a thing.

  • Have you ever heard of sim swapping?
  • Have you ever heard of exchanges being hacked?
  • Have you ever heard of smart contract breaches?

Holding your funds in a hardware wallet is by far the best and safest option... Not your keys, not your coins!

Hard wallets. MetaMask and TrustWallet with a hard wallet - there is also multi-sig meaning multiple signatures from friends and family would be required to unlock your coins. This is the most secure option obviously because a hard wallets can in theory be stolen but multi-sigs are infinitely harder to compromise for obvious reasons.

All those are online crypto-exchange sites, I won't recommend holding crypto there, not your keys not your coin.

Hi
Just doing research these days, thinking where should i hold my crypto

I know Nexo, BlockFi, Celius are the biggest, but would love to hear your thought about it?

Thanks :)
I wouldn't hold crypto on centralized exchanges ever. Not your keys, not your coins.

MetaMask / Trustwallet for a decentralized wallet. Trezor hard wallet.

A dedicated computer ONLY for crypto with an Ethereum Virtual Machine is another option.

Look into Shamir Secret Seed as well.

hardware wallet would be good tho !

i get what you’re saying but i do trades so it has to be warm wallets :(

Trust/Meta if you are moving things around or receiving things
Ledger if you are just hodling
also, i cannot stress how important it is...
USE BURNERS !!!!!!!!!

you should divide (like 70% and 30%) between a secure cold wallet and a hot wallet like crypto com, binance, coinbase etc.

What OP is describing was like shopping around for banks to put your money in. This is not what cryptos are meant to be. You are supposed to be your own bank and take responsibility for your own wallet. Use your own wallet and keep the keys safe.

If my crypto tiuches more than 1000 usd i will transfer all the fund into hardware wallet no matter what

trust wallet, metamask, phantom
I just installed trust wallet to receive a crypto payment from someone, but when the person tries to send payment to my LTC address it says the address doesn't exist. What is the problem please?
