Yeah you are right cold wallet is way to park the crypto assets only. To earn interest we need to choose binance and other wallet options

I recommend binance exchange. i am holding there for 7 years so far, never had any issue with deposit or withdraw... from Exodus, Metamask, Atomic wallet, Trust wallet i end up lossing crypto from there, so i would not recommend using it if you dont know what you are doing.

Get the big amount like 75 or 60 percent for hold cold wallet rest trade onto binance or other platform that's suits you well !

I use Ledger, but if I bought one today, I'd go for Trezor.
Just stay away from Blockchain wallet because these are getting hacked left and right.
