easiest way is with paid advertising, but if you want it organic then it will take a lot of time from your end, interact with the people, make viral content, use as an example KFC in Spain they are using an strategy calle always in -always on do some more research about it, send the invite to follow/like your page to the people who likes your content but dont follow you and friends. Share the content in other groups, etc.

- Provide value in similar groups. Wait to be messaged/message them, persuade to join your group.
- Host viral giveaways with tools like Upviral where one of the tasks to join and engage in your group
- If you run FB ads for your business, invite people who like your ads to like your page. Invite people who like your page to join your group (there are tools that can be used to automate this that can be found on Google.)

Be active, post regularly on the group, join other groups and engage with their content, promote your group extensively over social media and even on some other platform, pay for some ads and promotions to start getting a higher amount of followers, try to create engaging content that users will share on their profiles and that will become viral.
 
Use tools like jarvee and create 10 fake accounts, join your competitor groups with those accounts and then slowly send friend requests to those group members from those 10 accounts. Invite them to your group, not immediately after they accept your friend request. Give some time and add. By this method, you will get targeted members in your group.
 
All very good suggestions. I think if you want it to be faster buying accounts with plenty friends and followers and inviting all those followers is key
 
Copy viral post and repost in your group (remember to add credit). Or posting questions that are easy to get answers to or share. I see this way as quite safe and have many share/traffic
