i was surfing DP for microsoft topics and saw a thread that i think it is good for white hat seo here it is:
I've got to say, I'm kind of disappointed in this section of the forum. There really isn't a whole lot of information about Bing here. Personally, I think that Bing is a very important traffic source, especially if your site is blacklisted or sandboxed by Google. Also remember, Bing is going to show on Yahoo! search results in the future.
So here's some notes I've been taking for the last half hour or so. I will try and update this over the next few days IF I happen to find any more information or perhaps a real good case study. Keep in mind that I wrote these very quickly, and they are by no means complete. I'm just trying to stem some DECENT threads on Bing rather than the same 5 or so questions being asked repetitively.
- Make your domain name increase
- Backlinks from keyword-rich titles
- Domain age
- Original Content
- keyword-rich titles
- link-out to relevant websites
- Bing Categories
- Domain age
- At least 300 words of text
- Linking out to relevant sites
- Blogs are not favored
- keyword-rich titles
- Flash sites do better
- low amount of repetitive keywords in content, all keywords relevant
- Meta-tag keywords
- Hidden text & links = blacklisted
- No overused link schemes
- Enable MSNBot, submit all site subpages
- Relevant content
- Updated content
- Basically states that incoming and outgoing backlinks have to be very relevant, relavency is favored over quantity
