You have the ability to change everything to English per category, language strings, posts, pages, comments, etc.

There is 2 main translation plugins. However for wpml you need to make a setup wizard translation in the beginning for the main pages, which takes a lot of time.

There is also loco translate, which is not bad, fair enough to make a "basic translation" for a simple website.
