I just saw your example of using scrapebox (see quote below). Man this is huge! I dont know how you did it. I have read your post several times but I still dont know what I am doing wrong.

- I used private proxies from proxybonanza
- I wrote good coments as you suggested and spinned the hell out of them
- I only had 50% suxesrate (not 80%)
What are your settings in scrapebox? Do you use delay? How many connections have you configured for posting?
- after posting I had 0 links found by the linkchecker. Isn't this strange? I posted 5000 comments and 50% were succesfull

How do you harvest your URLs? Do you just search for random words or niche-specific words? Do you set a timespan in scrapebox, so maybe u just harvest the latest blogposts?

I mean what is the missing link here that it works with you but not with me.

I dont get it . Has Someone an idea what I am doing wrong?

Hey guys, I wanna post/showoff my real results to motivate you guys, or convince anyone who still has not purchased.
Here are my top results from a posting spree a few days back:

-post platform: WP
-total bandwidth (is not exact, this includes my other posting spree from a few days ago too, I did not get a chance to record exactly the bandwidth this one wave cost me, just how much I used up once I finished it. This includes scraping, link checkingx2): ~4.0GB
-total bandwidth costs(120+ private proxies): 4*$1.2= $4.80
-post time: ~2 hours
-posted from: Windows Xp in VM. Max UpSpeed: 50kb/s, Max DownSpeed: 800kb/s
-total posts: 6261 (including 'normal mode' and 'slow mode')
-successful posts: 5211
-post success rate: 83%
-links detected with linkcheck after posting: 141
-links detected after 5 days (for moderators to process): ~3041
-comments accepted by moderator: 2900 (this is where the quality of your comments counts)

And so, for less than 5$, and about 45 minutes of work (writing good comments), without a dedicated server, I have made almost 3k backlinks! And these are backlinks on established pages with good PR that will grow in strength over time!

End result:

5$ + 45min = 3k backlinks = Scrapebox ROCKS!!!

*The catch? Well there is no catch. Don't expect to get this high results all the time and without quality comments and private proxies. Remember the ultimate purpose of the comments is to convince the moderator that your comments is not spam, but a nice comment he wants to share with and show off to his viewers. He wants to feel that he is a good writer... Also remember, the better your comments, the more tough moderators they will penetrate. Tough moderators are good for you in this case, because they keep out the crappy spam, and so the page will have less outbound links, and thus more link-juice for your url!!

-for this posting spree, I had over 15 comments spun like crazy! But also kept human and nice looking!
Always think, what type of comment would you approve? So take the time to write good comments, and spin them A LOT!!

I know there are people out there who are doing better than me, but I just noticed there weren't really and real 'results' posted in this thread by customers, so I figured I'd set the bar for the rest of you!

EDIT: I may have confused some people when I said 'private proxies'. By 'private proxies' I meant purchased 'shared proxies' from pr0xyb0n@nza, as opposed to open proxies that everyone else uses

50% is nothing to sneeze at, yes some will go better with the good proxies you got, but 50% is pretty good.

As far as setting delays in the app, a lot of that depends on a mix of your upstream bandwidth plus your proxies. U using shared or private @ proxybonanza? You could always try turning connections and threads down a bit and seeing how that goes.

I usually wait at least a day or two before checking for backlinks, there aren't a lot of blogs set to auto approve but after a few days most of my comments have been either approved or rejected. Lazy fockering blog admins, their lives would be so much easier if they just auto-approved lol.

If you want to post or PM your comments I can take a look at them, spinning the hell out of them is a really good idea but I think some types of comments can look spammy right off the top.

I'll leave it to others to chime in on harvesting strategies, there's probably a ton of them cuz this app is like a shark with a frickin' laser on its head....it can do so much....

@ ransom - After you post, export the successful ones to a file (or export them all if you want). Then on your next run, after you've scraped together a new list, you can import URL's to compare and remove from the new list.

I don't think this will work to FILTER out pages you already posted to. Here's why.

Say in round 1 I harvest http://coolblog.com/postid?=99

then a few days later I'm scraping again and I get the same URL. If I import my OLD list and combine it with my NEW list, I will have that URL entered twice. I can then "Remove Duplicates", but it will only remove ONE instance of that URL, instead of both.

I believe what he's requesting (as well as me) is the ability to REMOVE that previously posted to URL totally, not just remove the dupe.

No - not import and combine, choose import URL list -> select URL's to compare. Scrapebox is doing some work for me right now, so I might have the menu label wrong, but there's an option under the Import URL List menu where you can open a previously-saved URL List and remove any matches that are in your new list.

But I find it really strange that not a single link was found by the link-checker. Well I will see the results in some days I hope

I will try some different comments and will watch what is getting approved the best.

Still the question: Do you guys harvest only new posts? I mean do you use the timeframe-feature in scrapebox?

I think you're okay, but one thing I didn't particularly like about HMA is you can only change IP every 5 minutes. I'd rather cycle through proxied IP's as often as I want, but then again I am an IP hog and a known reputation whore, so....

And you don't have to buy private proxy necesarily, I've used both shared and private premium proxies and had good success rates with both types. I like having an ass-load of IP's....but then again, I also want a pony....

btw, your free blast has been running for hours lol, nice job on the keywords new moon .

all you have to do is look at some comment from other blogs that look neutral and copy them.. i blasted some IM websites with comments from kim roaches buzz blogger LOL

o i stumbled on a great technique when commenting... what you do is all the failed ones you save and export them to a txt file then import them again into SB and blast them again.. i find that most of the failed ones post the second time round.. also use the live blog plugin before you do any comment blasts.

and i only use the free sb proxies

I posted this in a different thread, but then realized this is a better place for it:

I have been using scrapebox as a tool like Back Link Watch. Back link watch is great, but its slow and it runs out of quota for any given day and stops working. Backlink watch basically pulls from Yahoo Site Explorer.

So I was trying to figure out how to use Scrapebox like back link watch. Here is what I got.

Note: make sure you only tick Yahoo as your search engine.

To pull URLS from Yahoo site explorer (basically) you would use this as a custom foot print:

linkdomain:http://www.domain.com

you can also use this to exclude internal pages from the site

link domain:http://www.domain.com -site:http://www.domain.com



Then harvest. Your results will be the URLS from Yahoo Site Explorer.

Then I hit remove dupe urls.

I want to do a lot of sites to back track links so I save off the results from each site as a text file. Then when I run a new site I just use the compare feature to remove URLs that I have found from other sites and select all the site scrapes I have saved off.

Then I check Page rank (If you are after high Page rank sites), then export with PR to HTML file and start clicking thru pages to see if you can get links from the sites as well.

What this doesn't do that backlink watch does do is tell you NoFollow and how many out bound links are on a page. You can quickly see this when you pull it up in a browser though.

An easy way for me to spot Nofollow is to use the stylish script as described in this article:

That way as soon as you click the link in your html file and Firefox opens the page you can quickly glance thru it. If the links are highlighted Pink (or whatever color you choose to use in the stylish addon) then its no follow. If not its ****************.


The only thing left is the out bound links and there is an addon that will handle this.


Find a spammer, trace his back links, become a fellow spammer and don't get slapped by big G for being stupid.

ScrapeBox does Outbound & Internal links on a list of URL's

It's an optional addon you can download, just go to your "Addons" menu and fetch it. There's 6 Addons currently, with another one popping up today or tomorrow plus the Port Scanner will be removed from the SB core and to the addons as well.

rss doesn't work for me when I run it says RSS ping completed but 107 failed
