How is the country DB updated? Is it auto or we need to buy it separately from MaxMind for example?

You can use free or you can buy premium databases. When there are no databases added in the software, a message linking to a page that recommends IP databases is shown. For country level targeting, updating them once a month is enough.

If you only need country data/redirects, and you use Cloudflare (free) for the domain where you installed Redirecta, you don't have to deal with databases at all. You can use IP geolocation provided by Cloudflare.

Can I redirect the users from 1 country (Canada) to different sites based on their devices (mobile/desktop) ? for example: mobile users from Canada -> google.com desktop users from Canada -> bing.com

There is mass redirect option? I choose 2-3 countrys to create redirects and all the remaining countrys are redirected to 1 link.

The redirects are automatical right? The user not need to click to a link like in your examples, right?

Yes, you can do all of that. And yes, the user doesn't need to click anything.
