Suggestion related to "The Lounge" section

Why are you expecting value from Lounge when it isn't meant to be a professional section?

It's like asking authorities to remove park in a residential area because you think people are wasting a lot of time in the park.

So far everyone (except sooryas2k) have expressed their opinions without getting personal with another person and that is appreciated, as this is merely a suggestion section and not an enforcement section. Anyone and infact even EVERYONE may not be in favour of my (or anyone else's) suggestion and that is very much normal, especially when mere suggestions are concerned. For example @RichKIDLK and @Starblazer & @xReminisce & @RushingWind have very nicely explained why they are not in favour of the suggestion and that is perfectly fine, as one need not have to be in favour of all suggestions always.

I would like to hijack this thread to say I lost the love of my life and true love girlfriend because she does not like my porn addiction and even though I started smoking because she makes it look so cool she refuses to answer any of my texts even though I sent 73 in a row while standing across the street from her house and I know you will tell me to get a life but you just don't understand how really beautiful and perfect she is for me and instead of criticising me if you would only tell me the secret to make $37 per day the easy way without scam so I could get her back or maybe buy something for her sister who is also very cute then I would be eternally grateful.

Lounge should be taken light heatedly. Sometimes people make below the belt jokes or insults that can be reported.

The thread you referenced was a feel-good thread involving two pretty good guys, @RoiBox and @Willyfish, so maybe you want to come up with some better examples.

But, the lounge is exactly that, a lounge, where people hang out and chat about almost everything under the sun.

Go to a bar in the USA and hang out and you'll get almost the exact same content... probably the same in lots of countries.

I do understand that "The Lounge" section's description is "What’s been on your mind lately? Maybe you've come across a website that made you laugh. Almost anything goes here".
Threads in "The Lounge" section must also offer some value or atleast some meaning if not some value : like "come across a website that made you laugh" is also meaningful because it would induce some laughter into an internet marketeer who is busy marketing online the whole day.

My suggestion is that even in "The Lounge", totally meaningless threads must not be allowed.

The lounge posts don't count towards post count, but there are members who still post pointless threads just to advertise their banners.
