spam doesn't work, jk $1.6M

its always funny to see on a blackhat forum how people think serp spam doesn't work or is only short term.
of course it does if you do it properly. just look on some niches what ranks on the first page.. the serps are full of parasites, auto generated sites, copied content etc.
take news sites for example, many of them just copy articles 1:1 yet they still rank.

Ahref traffic can be boosted AF and means 0.
Plus, you never know how much effort and cash did the guy put in to achieve these results to say whether or not was worth it.
Not exactly. What means is actually count of keywords in top 1-3 that they are ranking for. Most of sites mentioned in this topic are between 10-20k to even 100k+ top 3 keywords. It definitely drives traffic to them :)

There are a few autoblogging journeys on BHW. I have an ongoing journey as well. These posts will give you a lot of insights into the process. Also, being 'auto' generated content, there's a bunch of programming work that needs to be done to achieve similar scales. So as long as you have that experience, you should be good!
dope! going to check your blogs out and start learning! you mind if I reach out if i ever need help? (via telegram or dms here)

Spam still works, case in point lorem ipsum:

I've not done anything to this site but add content, I sort of fucked up a bit so keyword cannibalization is a bit of an issue. I've only done a few niches. Need to get back and add some more stuff.

Spam still works
It works since ages and it will work for ages. Just the way it works changed over years, but it's true - it still works pretty fine.
Why there is conviction that it's dead? Because of whitehat enthusiasts which see "Google spam update" and tell everyone that spam is dead, content is the king and intentional backlinks will throw you out of the SERPs.

I repeat... spam cheap niches and gets good rankings and lot of visitors is pretty easy, very hard is to spam rich niches (finance, insurance, etc) and get rankings or visits! ;)
If this was not true, all of us would now have been millionaires. Period.

How are you monetizing a site like this?

mhm then check pharma/health, gambling, adult, movies etc etc niches which are all rich with tons of competition and lots of $ to be made if there is no spam lol
also many people don't know how to spam properly, thats the thing how some rank and some just try once, fail and claim it doesn't work as they are not skilled enough.

SEO and SERP noob here: how exactly can they boost or fake Ahrefs organic traffic numbers?

1. Ahrefs finds (most) keywords you rank for. (It actually underestimates them)
Ahrefs doesn’t track ALL the keywords that a website is ranking for in organic search results. We track the most popular ones and that is about 120 Million keywords for the US only. In reality, there are billions of keywords, and it’s technically impossible to track all of them.
2. Estimate CTR for each keyword depending on its position in SERP.
3. And lastly, determine search volume for the keywords based on what Google and other app/extension sellers report them.
We get existing volume data from Google Keyword Planner, and pair it with clickstream data to create a model that gives very accurate search volumes for almost any keyword.

From all 3 steps, step 1. is undervaluing traffic, step 2. is probably determined from past data on how much people click specific positions. So that leaves only step 3, how are people tricking Google and other data traders to report wrong search volumes? (how do you trick someone, if you don't know who he even is)

According to Ahrefs themselves:

1. They find (most) keywords you rank for.

2. Estimate CTR for each keyword depending on its position in SERP.
3. And lastly, determine search volume for the keywords based on what Google and other app/extension sellers report them.

still editing ffs
Its easy to fake those numbers with game trafic în certain keywords.
